See Florida the way it used to be…from an airboat! Loxahatchee Everglades Tours is fun, exciting and educational! Take an airboat tour and see all the wonders of nature in their natural state! Glide over a “river of grass” and along the way enjoy the flora (water lilies, sawgrass and cattails to name a few) and fauna (some might expect to see turtles, snakes, birds and alligators)! We do not cage or pen any animals and we do not feed them!enjoy these wonders in their natural habitat!

Although the weather cooperated, the alligators didn't. The air boat ride was nice and the driver was super, but we only spotted one very hidden alligator. The birds and iguanas were plentiful however. For $29 we were told one ride, one picture, one alligator show. After the ride we were told one picture per group (couple, two couples) and $5... More

Our family (2 adults and 4 school-age kids) had a great experience on this tour! The kids delighted in riding the air boat - the look on their faces as the tourguide steered toward vegetation - and then glided over it - was priceless. We got to see 10 alligators, 2 turtles, and a variety of birds. The tourguide was... More

What a fun morning trip into the Everglades. The air boats are pretty large but the seating is setup like stadium seats so everyone has a great view. Tons to see while riding around and the guides are passionate about the environment. We saw a couple of gators and a ton of different birds. The guides explain how the water... More

Pricey but a nice ride. Our guide was fantastic and took his time to explain lots of things about the vegetation, wildlife and climate. it is a one in a life time event for us and it was worth it. Cons: No reservation accepted so you have to go there and wait for the best (first come first serve basis).

We really enjoyed the tour. We got there early to beat the rush. We got to see the beautiful, undeveloped nature of the Everglades.

For a ride worth $ 25. We saw a few birds, maybe one alligator and the whole trip was very noisy. If you want to see alligators go by car to the Alligator Trail and cruise Naples/ Miami slowly East or West. You will see hundred of alligators and experience the Everglades for a fraction of that money. If, however,... More

I'll be back for the night tour. This was my first time in the everglades. I enjoyed the boat ride the most. We saw 5 gators several turtles and lot of birds. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable of the environment.

Capt Wayne is an original. His style, knowledge, and storytelling abilities are exceptional. Of course, it's also very useful to read Carl Hiassen before coming to this part of the world. A delightful excursioninto the switchgrass and into the past.

We took this tour on a windy November afternoon. They had told us we might not see too many alligators, but we saw at least 3 or 4. Our guide said it was the most he had seen that day. It was cool on the water, and I was wishing I had taken a small jacket. It was a nice... More

Be sure to go early in the day, a lot of birds to see but not many Alligators. The tour is 50 minutes in total. The guide is very knowledgeable. I found it a bit pricey though.
