The Pier

The pier was in walking distance from our hotel and was a fun experience for me and my two teenaged grandchildren who both love to fish. They had a blast!!

Absolutely love this beach. Its family friendly, but also romantic. Its beautiful. The water is so pretty and refreshing and the sand is so white. Wish I could own a beach house here.

There was so much trash all over the beach near the pier. I'm not 100% sure how much of that was just due to storms having been in the area versus a lack of effort to keep the beach clean, but I was just so let down. Compared to other gulf coast beaches I have visited, this was definitely the... More

This is a great place to take the entire family. It's cheap and the views are fabulous. You can see fish, sharks and birds. It's also a great place to go fishing and your license is included in the fishing fee. There is a lower admission just to go out on the pier. It's more than worth the money spent.

We made multiple trips here. Best place to watch the sunset!! We saw dolphins, jelly fish, sting rays, a sea turtle and even a small shark. Actually we saw more dolphins here than we did on the dolphin cruise we went on! One of the best things is that once you pay your receipt will get you in for the... More

The pier is longer than it appears. Great view of the shoreline from the end. Lots of people fishing there at sunset, and the fish were biting. We didn't fish, but enjoyed the walk and the sunset from there. Nice place to stop by before or after dinner, or if you want to fish, I'm sure you'll catch something because... More

My family and I enjoyed walking the pier. Next year we plan on fishing from the pier on a leisure night. It is nice that it does not close.

Several shops to look at, a few rides for the kids, cost 3.00 a person just to walk out on the pier, we went at night so didn't get to see any Dolphins.

It is 3 dollars a person to just walk the pier or 6 dollars if you are going to try and fish. The 6 dollars also covers your fishing permit for fishing off the pier. It is good for the whole day so you can come and go at anytime. Before you get on the pier there is a store... More
