We love walking out on the pier at sunset on our trips to watch the fishermen and the fish. This is one of my kids (9 & 5) favorite things to do because you can usually spot some dolphins swimming around and the fishermen always enjoy showing off their catch.

Let's you feel up close and personal! Great view especially at sunset. We were there over July 4th and what a show did they put on. Consideration needs to be taken if you have ambulatory issues. It is a long walk to the end if you do however it is H/A.

Husband and son went to fish. Be prepared to spend extra on bait. The bait shop employees were super nice. My son saw dolphin and stingray. They caught a few fish. Not bad for the price.

The serious guys and gals line up at the end of the pier and most days pull un some serious fish. I saw a 12 year old pull in a fish at long as the kid was tall! It is fun drop a line and pull in what ever swims below. Most folks fishing are friendly, maybe not so friendly... More

We were a bit disappointed to discover there is a fee to enter the pier but managed to get over it fairly quickly. I recommend going in the evening to watch the sunset, see the views, feel the evening breeze, watch them bait shark and see the dolphins! 4* due to fee to enter!

This is right across from the Pier shopping center. It's 3 dollars to get in per person to just walk. Thu can also fish there too flour a different price. It's a beautifully made pier. Cement and wood mix. Very clean for having so many fishermen. We saw a school of sting rays and a huge school of some fish.... More

We visited on a week day in the afternoon. It was VERY crowded, with many fishermen. It is $3 per person to walk out onto the pier, which offers a fantastic view. I saw a group of stingrays, but that was the only wildlife. Two things kept our visit from being a 5 star. First, there were fishermen everywhere, swinging... More

I always enjoy walking out on the pier and watching the people fishing. The evening I was there the weather was nice, and there were some pretty good catches to see.

Love the view! I'm scared of heights, but I love watching all the people fish & seeing what they catch! And it's only about a 5 minute walk from our hotel on the beach!
