The jets from the nearby air base fly over every once in a while and that can be fun to watch the jets and choppers fly... More

We've been coming to Panama City Beach for years. We met some friends and they took us out to the island. The shells are nothing special and the sand is the same as on the main land. I'm glad we never spent the money to go to the island. I might return if they put some restrooms on the island

I have never felt more like I was in paradise! Such a beautiful, quiet island! The sand was soft and white and the ocean was so peaceful! Had a visit to the island for 30 minutes while I was on a Dolphin tour with Aquatic Adventures.

Very remote and pristine. If you are a fair skinned person worried about whether or not your sun block will work or those wanting to sit in the shade, this place is not for you. There is ONE very small palm tree, no structures of any kind, in short NO SHADE! Which we loved!!!!

We love going after a day of fishing to chill and relax.... A nice little island to let the pets out and let the little ones run....

To get to Shell island you take a shuttle from St. Andrews state park. It takes ten minutes to reach the island. There are no bathrooms, no food stands, no anything on the island....except shells, sand and beautiful emerald green water.! You can take chairs, coolers and umbrellas. There are no garbage cans, so what you take on you take... More

Shell Island is simply excellent. It is adjacent to Panama City Beach but a lot slower pace. Ideal for a day or longer.

If you love shells, this is the place! It was beautiful! I wish we would have chose a longer trip, it seemed rushed! Try to run on sand as fast as you can to catch the boat before you miss it! It was not easy! It was fun and will visit again!

Shell island is shell island, a beach with alot of little shells. No concessions or bathrooms, just sand and tiny shells. Get ready for a long walk and if you are the lucky one to carry the cooler, exhaustion. Skip this place, go to your beach at the hotel, and relax. If you want shells, go to the store, buy... More
