Wonderful beach. One of the best I have been to in Florida. Emerald green water, white sand, sand dunes and more. The best part is that it is quiet and not crowded at all. Definitely a must see in Panama city beach.

It's very beautiful and clear water, but I'm mystified to where all the shells are. I walked a long way and didn't find anything that wasn't tiny and average. If you're looking for a bunch of little shells this is the place. Also the biting flies were awful. Shell Key in St . Petersburg beach was awesome big shells and... More

Dolphins and relaxing day on he beach. I would recommend this to any PCB visitors. We took a boat and jet skis over and this was a great way to go.

This is a beautiful piece of heaven . My husband and I went through St. Andrews park and paid 150$ to rent a pontoon boat for 4 hours . It was so worth it. It's about a 5 minute boat ride from St. Andrews park. I didn't find but a small handful of shells but the scenery is beautiful and... More

Whether you rent your own boat or take a shuttle, it's totally worth the trip over. It's a remote island, no bathrooms, but it is gorgeous. No condos, house, high rises, etc......The water is very clear and there no uch see weed. Take your coolers and your chairs, and then relax and enjoy

We took the Captain Anderson's III for a three hour tour. You have one hour on Shell Island and afterwards there is a trip to the Gulf for dolphin viewing. The boat had a snack bar and a restroom. There is no restroom facilities on Shell Island so this is an important amenity :) The island is beautiful and untouched... More

Quiet and calming. Bring a cooler because there is nothing on the island to buy. It's a 10 min boat ride.

This is one of the most peaceful and beautiful places on earth! It is a spot we visit every time we come. Unspoiled and the way it is meant to be.

After seeing the reviews and hearing people talk, I thought this is something we had to do. I guess I expected more, because the beach area was really not much different than behind our condo. They were really not many more shells, and all the jet ski's out the there, made the water choppier also. We rode the shuttle, and... More

We visited Shell Island- took the ferry across for the day- the water was clear- not much sea weed- and the sugar white sand was wonderful- not many shells tho- had to hunt really hard in the water to find any- no cover for shade- or no place to buy food or drinks- so take your own- had a wonderful...
