Large park with many amenities. Friendly people, private rv spots, fantastic beach! Large parking lot and they offer a shuttle to shell island from the park.

This is a great break from the craziness that often times is Panama City Beach. The park offers excellent access to wonderful beaches and calm, protected waters. There are also plenty of animals like deer just wandering around the roads; I ran within about 5 feet of a deer without it spooking. Nice trails for short hikes. Plenty of clean... More

We spent four nights in our RV here. This is a very nice park and has a large number of water-front camp sites. We camped in the Grand Lagoon Campground. The restrooms are very clean and everything is well maintained. We also walked a couple trails, visited the turpentine still, walked out on the pier, walked on the beach, climbed... More

Beautiful park. Able to take several pictures of mamma and baby deer. Several larger birds, just walking around so tame. A couple of dolphins hanging out in the bay.

Family spent the weekend in the travel trailer in the campground. Good facilities and a great beach! Bathhouses were clean and well maintained. You can rent a kayak or hop on a shuttle to take a tour of Shell Island. Good place to bicycle around too.

We love going to this park. We've camped two out of the four times we've visited. The beaches are so beautiful and untouched by tourism. The alligator park is really cool and beautiful as well. It's wonderful seeing wildlife and enjoying the unspoiled area.

Worth the $8 fee. There are several scenic spots for some good pictures in there. Tried to find some shells, but couldn't really find much. Lots of deer just walking around. It was too cold to swim while we were there, but it did look like a good spot to snorkel in the bay. Lots of people fishing while we... More
