Clean and no alcoholic beverages allowed. Lagoon ideal for families with children. Water is protected from waves via the rock jetties. Crystal clear and shallow. Older kids can snorkel the protected waters on the lagoon near the jetty rock. Just a short trip over the sand to 'beach' side with waves and shell collecting. Numerous places within the park to... We rented a pontoon from St Andrews Park. The price was great for the all day rental and we had a blast! The employees were polite and friendly. I would definitely rent again from them and I recommend you do too! Make sure to bring your fishing poles because we caught some very interesting things out there (we put them... More

It was $8 for a car of 4 to get on for all day access to the beach. There was a nice pier to walk out on at one of the beach areas. A little store at both beaches. The beach you could rent chairs and umbrellas at was very nice. The kids found lots of cool little shells. Very... More

We actually visited St. Andrews State Park twice during our week long vacation in July. It is only $8 (cash only) for the entire car (van) load to get it. The beach is a little more private & there is a pier as well. The view is absolutely breath taking. We also saw a pretty big Gator while in the... More

Trip to the beach was good. $8 entrance per vehicle with up to eight people. Both sides of the beach provide an enjoyable experience. The east side (on the bay) has umbrellas for rent. They also have paddle boards, boogie boards and other equipment to rent. Nice beach, kept up well, also with a helpful staff. I recommend this over... More

There were lots of little shells to collect but also made it a little hard on the feet. The beach was beautiful and the water was very calm. There are lots of rocks and fish around so it's a great place to snorkel and dive or just float in the calm waters or relax in the sand.

We visited St Andrews to use their beaches for the day. We chose the kiddie pool beach area because the ocean waves were rough that day and the jetties offer protection so the kiddie pool was calm and clear. It is about the size of a football field. We snorkeled along the jetties and saw many schools of fish and... More

Very isolated and beautiful beach with nice restrooms and showers. Views are awesome. In the middle of July this beach was almost deserted. Less than 4 miles outside of the park you will find restaurants and ice cream...so don't fret.

I drove over from Tallahassee for a little day trip (2-hour drive one way) and went to St. Andrews State Park. It was well worth the drive. The beaches in this part of Florida just can't be beat. I went to the regular beach access (not the part with the rock jetties) and it was great. It was slightly crowded... More

What a great place to see and do so many different things....from the alligator pond to the pier stretching out over the gulf to the ride over to Shell Island to the wonderful beach that allows to completely calm snorkling in one area and boggie boarding just a 50 yards away. Excellent choice for a day of fun!
