We went to the park for a bit, while waiting to be able to check in to our condo. Wanted to get out and walk and stretch our legs after being in the car for 13 hours!! The visitor center when you first come in was nice. The grandkids liked looking at the displays, and there were nice, clean restrooms.... More

The visit here is well worth the time. The harbor/lagoon side offers clear water and tons of shells!!! Also you can easily snorkel out by the rocks and see lots of fish, stingray, clams, crabs, snails! The best part is we didn't pay anything other than entry fee to park and saved money by not doing a tour and we... More

Stopped by for a day trip from Destin and fell in love with this place. The water was so nice and clear. We swam out to the rocks, and with goggles you can see tons of fish and crabs. We saw some colorful fish by the rocks as well as Lady Fish and even a puffer fish. Felt like I... More

I love going to this park. They offer cheap shuttle boats to shell island! Other places will take you to the same island for a crazy amount of money for only a limited amount of time. The park offers constant shuttles throughout the day for drop off and pick up. You make your own schedule and not bound to the... More

Recommend this shuttle to shell island. They take you and you can stay as long as you like until 5. Other shuttle services give you a time limit like an hour or so and are more expensive.

We visited St Andrews State Park looking forward to the promised sparkling white sand and emerald green water. Unfortunately, the sand was more brown than white, Perhaps they had a recent beach renourishment. Likewise, the water wasn't all that green and, to top it off, there was some kind of algae bloom which greatly irritated my wife's eyes. They do... More

I took my grandkids to St. Andrews to take a shuttle to Shell Island. I had only planned on staying a couple of hours but we got so caught up on looking for shells and fish we lost all count of time. We ended up staying 5 hours!!! We didn't find any shell's but my grandson did find one sand... More

Fun but shell island overrated, hardly any shells. But had a bus to boat ride to get dropped off. Had a sting ray nibble on my toe, definitely different. Really cool for lil kids too.
