Great State Park overlooking the Gulf. Has several hiking area, beach area, "gator" lake, camping and a boat launch as well as the shuttle boat to shell island. The park in very clean and quiet, just a lot of natural scenery. Admissions $8 for a car load. We saw a lot of birds, 5 deer and several gators. Spring breakers... More

This park is on the Gulf Coast in Florida and is truly a wonderful place. It consists of picnicking areas, campgrounds, fishing & swimming areas, walking trails and even a Gator Lake where you might catch a glimpse of an alligator. The trail around Gator Lake is self-guided and only .36 of a mile loop,

My husband and I spent five days camping at St Andrews. The park itself is beautiful, located on the inland waterway, it has campsites which have foliage on either side, enough to provide privacy. The public washrooms are clean and up to date and there is a washer and dryer at each washroom which is a great bonus when camping.... More

Spring Break has actually not been as bad 2015 ? LATE Febuary "2015 I noticed that heavy smoke or fog, it was like a major snow storm & very little to no moisture in it. BROWN smear with wipers. In 2010; the Gulf spill hit PCB, FLORIDA 42408 Hard!!! No one listens! As a tourist industry here, we live off... More

We came here for a day trip because the beach was supposed to be one of the best in the country. It was as pretty as the others in the area, and the water a little warmer than some. But it wasn't the surfing beach we had expected. There were little tiny waves that my 8-year-old liked for boogie boarding,... More

One of the most beautiful parks in Florida. Take it from a local who grew up here, this is a beautiful park. Tip - park at the jetties and walk the loop by going along the shoreline north toward the bay and once around the point, follow the trail back to the main road and to the parking area at... More

Please try to visit this beautiful state park. Eight bucks per car and you have a day of out door fun. You can rent a kayak or a pontoon boat. Plenty of fishing! There are wonderful shaded picnic areas with playgrounds near bathrooms and the beach.(bay) There is camp store if you need anything.

I am 51 years old, I have been going to this park since I was 3. No mater what you want its here for you. White sandy gulf beaches, fishing on the bay, exploring the jetties and kid friendly tidal pools filled with white sand and clear water. It is the most visited park in Florida so expect a crowd... The park is a great place to go for the beach and wildlife. What a relief from the hustle and bustle of Thomas dr.

we stayed at an rv resort right by the state park and took several walks around the park ($2 per person for walking or biking) as well as took our dogs in several times. My husband drove his car/kayak in ($4) and did some fishing. They have great beach access but dogs are not allowed at all on the beaches... More
