The ocean park is a fine beach, although it is somewhat high off the water's edge, so built because of the constant erosion from steady East winds. It has perhaps a half-dozen excellent tennis courts, with lessons available. Plenty of parking, first two hours free in the morning, which is primarily for the benefit of the tennis contingent. It is... More

Me and my friend had such a great time at Phipps Ocean Park. It was a very windy morning with rough surf and there were lots of different types of plovers hanging around. We saw the Wilson's plover, semipalmated plover and snowy plover. We also saw an osprey dive into the rough surf to catch it's fish. It was so... More

This is a great spot for a larger gathering to have a picnic and a day of fun at the beach! Nearby, you will find the Palm Beach Par 3 golf course, where you can either start or finish your fun-filled day, and also grab a bite on the second floor of the clubhouse, with incredible views of the ocean... Excellent park and so much to enjoy, love the beach here, some rocks here, but very nice natural look of all. They allow free parking for up to quite a few spaces each morning for a few hours, so a nice perk. Overall, great beach and park.

Yesterday was our second visit to Phipps Ocean Park. The first time we went the water was breathtaking and we spent several hours there so I preloaded 3 hours into the meter (at $5 an hour). We headed to the beach to do some snorkeling but didn't end up seeing anything. An hour in a thunderstorm sent us packing when... More

Go down Route A1A in Palm Beach for the most breathtaking drive along the Ocean. Phipps Park is on the Ocean so it is one of the few places to Park and have a swim. Also there are tennis courts there.

This wonderful park on Palm Beach Island is full of surprises. It has a wonderful secluded beach that is pristine and perfect for swimming and snorkeling. It also has a wonderful park complete with terrific views cabanas with barbecue pits and acres of park to play in. The park is also the home to one of the first single room... More

This is the southern most public beach in Palm Beach. It is in the process of being renourished (rebuilt). Life guards are stationed until 6 p.m. There are bathroom facilities behind the dunes and a small playground on the north side of the beach. The one major downside is the parking fee of $5.00 per hour. It's the same fee... More
