Great place to walk or ride bicycle.

I love walking the Lake Trail. Great views around - architecture of Palm Beach and West Palm Beach skyline.

This is a great jogging or walking path that takes you past the back of many beautiful Palm Beach homes all while giving you great views across the water to downtown West Palm Beach. It's a very popular path and I've always felt safe jogging it.

The Lake Trail is wonderful--great views from just over the middle bridge along the lake side of the island up to the Palm Beach inlet--excellent for biking, walking, etc. Very well maintained.

It's a must do experience in Palm Beach! Bike on Lake Trail beginning at Society of Four Arts (terrific library and gardens) and head north along the Intracoastal waterway trail past the Flagler Museum (also a must do!). Cross Royal Poinciana Way intersection and continue on till you reach the end of the island at the Inlet, about 4 miles.... More

Arrive via Okeechobee east across intercoastal bridge, and park at Palm beach library on north side of street. Just as you cross the bridge. You can lock your bikes at the bike stand in front of library. Then enter the beautiful garden attached to the library for a piece of paradise. Then get your bikes and head to the lake... More

there is ample shade and a few benches for a leisurely stroll or a short bike ride to or from town; the back yards of a few mansions are seen as well in this nice diversion for tourists and locals alike.

We rented bikes from Palm Beach rentals to ride the trail. We arrived at 9am, as soon as they opened so that we could ride in the cooler morning hours. Half day rental is plenty to ride the trail, stop at the north end of the island, then ride back down the ocean side. Make sure you park in the... More
