We rented bikes from the Palm Beach Bike Trail Shop, a short distance from the trail, and rode the full length of the trail from the bridge to the north end and back in about an hour. It is a beautiful paved trail with the water on one side and the backyards of the rich on the other, most concealed... More

This is an extremely beautiful trail along the Palm Beach side of the Intracoastal Waterway. Water to one side of you and stately houses and mansions to the other. Miles of serene bike riding or leisurely walking await you in this subtropical paradise.

Too short. Palm Beach needs more places to run in the area. Why is it that almost all of South Florida is void of good running trails?

This is a lovely Palm Beach walk which takes one past great sights--The Society of the Four Arts, fabulous houses, Royal Poincietta Chapel and Seagull Cottage, Flagler Museum, with train pavilion. Beautiful palms, gardens and the famous kapok tree too!

The Trail stretches from the vicinity of the Flagler Museum - Whitehall - to nearly the north end of the town, perhaps 2-1/2 miles.. It runs mostly along the Lake Worth lagoon. It meanders and is paved, making it a welcome activity for bikers, roller bladers, and people just out for a walk. It runs between the estates and the... More

Step out of the hotel, cross the street, and off you go. You can ask the valet for a bottle of water when you get back.

The Lake Trail offers an excellent view of the intercostal, and it's relaxing. People also cycle along the trail but, to truly enjoy it, my suggestion would be to walk or run.
