The walking paths at Turkey are wonderful, not only do you see many birds but fish and other creatures as well. It is a peaceful place to go visit and meditate. You would not think Palm Bay has such a place in the middle of a busy city. You can canoe thru the creek or walk the trails or both.... More

I've been visiting Turkey Creek Sanctuary for 20 years, and never tire of it. I always bring visitors here. A true remnant of Real Florida, made comfortably accessible to all, with clean and well-maintained facilities and walks, all free. Beautiful trails and boardwalks, frequent critter sightings (tortoises, birds, manatees, gators, turtles, gar, etc.), especially along the creek itself. The hammock... More

Great place to go take a walk on their boardwalk and relax. Eventually there is a stream that has many wonderful types of "things" in it. Places to sit down and relax but beware of the critters! Racoons love to snack on your snacks!!

Sometimes walking is hard for me, but these paths are easy and there is lots to see. We happened to see some 4' fish (maybe Gar) and we really enjoyed it here. Also it us very close to the Manatee viewing dock.

Great trail to spend time enjoying mother nature at her finest. Lots of birds and the occasional alligator or two. I live close by and enjoy this place on a weekly basis.

Very true Florida experience. Nice boardwalk. Lots of nature and different plants to see. Can be a little hot in the summer time. Watch for flying bugs as well.

Great place for a walk...mostly raised boardwalk through the woods and along Turkey creek, though they have begun putting in some more primitive trails. Take a wander along the creek and see manatees, alligators, fish, turtles. Nice place to take kids because of the raised walk ways...keeps them out of the weeds, sand and bushes. There is also a small... More

This is a very nice boardwalk trail, and possibly we just visited at the wrong day/time, but we saw almost not wildlife. The boardwalk passes the creek, but vegetation has grown up blocking a lot of views. I would consider this a nice place to take a walk if you are in the area, but would not make a special... More

It would be nice if trip advisor had told us this before we got there. The man at the house very rudely advised us that no dogs were allowed.

This little local hidden spot is an awesome gem for families to enjoy. Well maintained and family friendly. And its free !!! Slightly hidden though... behind the Palm Bay Rec. Center on Port Malabar. Right next to the local library. Handicap friendly also. the boardwalk has "gaps" that make a walker/rollator feel a little bumpy. But not enough to discourage... More
