there are a few parks sprinkled on this path so you can stop and let your kids play, there's even enough room to park and play if you're driving.

I have been taking my children and grandchildren to the ravines for 40 plus years. none of us have ever gotten bored with our walks through the winding trails. in the spring the flowering trees and bushes are spectacular. it is part of the old Florida. take your time wondering over the swinging bridges. do not just drive on the... I was looking forward to seeing the ravine. I was disappointed. It is a short loop drive. I could see that there is a lot of azaleas and perhaps when they are in bloom it's pretty. There was three walkers on the loop. I could understand if you lived there it would be an idea place to walk/run. It is... More

Breathtaking natural beauty, especially in the spring. This is what Florida really looks like...out of the tourist traps. I originally came from Pennsylvania and traveled to Florida about once a year or so.... to go to the beaches and tourist attractions. I moved to Florida in 2001 and have found the REAL FLORIDA. This state park is the epitome of... More

We went to the park at the end of March and most of the Azalea were gone. We missed the peak time. So if you want to see the blossom of Azalea, you need to go before early March. They have two main trails. One is called Azalea trail which is kinda hilly with steps up and down. During the... More

Pack a lunch. Do the trails play on the playground and then go find a place to picnic. Many places with picnic tables and parking area around the driving path. Had a blast spent a good 3 hours at this location. Lots if green but not much other color. A bit too early in the year.

Very nice facilities for short, picturesque hikes and picnics. The maps could be more detailed, but it was nice to wander around. Make sure to see the suspension bridge.

This is an interesting park to visit. There is a $5.00 fee to enter. There was an attendant when we arrived that didn't have trail maps but sent us to the building straight ahead which did have some in a rack by the front door. You can drive around the perimeter of the park in your car. There are places... More
