When a guest arrives, they are greeted by "Hammy" the live 12’ alligator, his smaller alligator neighbors and other beautiful animals such as exotic Blue & Gold Macaws, a Ball Python and more! Airboat rides are available throughout the day where guests can journey through Lake Jesup; which is widely known for hosting one of the largest alligator populations in Florida (up to 10,000). Our USCG approved airboats piloted by experienced captains provides a thrilling yet safe adventure for all. Every ride is different as the natural scenery and wildlife changes with every season!After their journey guests can enjoy lunch or dinner at our on-site Black Hammock Restaurant where they can try our famous Gator Bites or choose from our menu with delicious meals made from scratch by our chef. Adults can lounge at our Lazy Gator Bar and take in the spectacular view of Lake Jesup. There are many beers and wines to choose from as well as our fully stocked liquor bar. “Fantastic, unique adventure- great for the whole family!”

First, let me say that Black Hammock is not exactly right around the corner, but don't let that deter you! The gator experience was awesome the staff was great! We saw a ton of gators the day we went including a big mamma with ten baby's lined up on her back! It was a great time I would recommend it to anyone up for an airboat ride More

“Aliligators, beautiful natural Florida at it's best”

Great activity for a family if you want to see Florida wildlife. Captain Steve knew exactly where to find alligators and birds of prey. We saw 10 foot alligators, alligator hatchlings, a bald eagle and all sort of other birds. Fun and educational! More

“Great family fun”

We did the 30 minute ride through Groupon and were very satisfied with our experience. Our two teenage boys and our youngest really enjoyed the ride. We saw plenty of gators and other wildlife. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely a great memory for our family. More

Captain Steve took us out for a fabulous ride on the airboat. We saw LOTS of alligators, wildlife, nesting spot of a bald eagle.
