To be honest, we couldn't figure out where it started or ended. The drive does have some scenic spots; however, it's pretty standard for that part of FL. Maybe we missed something. It could be better marked.

I am a long time local that still enjoys driving "the loop". It has classic Florida beauty with some great stops if you are looking to explore Ormond Beach's "off the beaten path" history and charm. Whether you are visiting or a local, if relaxing and going for a drive is your style check out the lòop. Sit back, relax... More

We took the entire loop from Ormund Beach, Old Dixie highway and then back on the 40. It was amazing and I just wish we had the time to go into the State Parks on the way. This is pure, pristine Florida's natural beauty-definitely not to be missed!

Back to nature. Scenic. We love to drive this route, especially at sunset! Great to have old, unaltered Florida so close to home!

This was a beautiful ride thru the tree canopy. We will definately be back. We rode the loop in a motor home and could only do part of the loop because of the low clearance of the tree canopy being 8 ft 6 in.

I drove this by taking my 3 boys in our truck. It was a calm weekeday and I am glat it was. The road is narrow but very very peaceful. It would be a great choice too do a motorcycle run on it. Loved it and will do it again on our next road trip.

Nice scenic ride with the Spanish Moss hanging, made part of this feel like you were in a tunnel. Came on bike week so very busy. Stop and see a 2000 year old tree...

We always drive the loop when we are in the area for bike week. Very scenic. Be sure to stop at the state park along the way, and see the 2000 year old oak tree. A must see attraction. The loop is about 24 miles long. A great drive after dinner or on a lazy afternoon. I highly recommend
