First time visitor, and wondering why I haven't come before. This is a manageably-sized art museum featuring changing exhibitions of (usually) one artist. Bright, spacious, and cool. We saw an exhibit by Elisa Boughner, bright and colorful works that were perfectly suited to the space. This exhibit ends Sept 6; there were fliers for upcoming events (they offer classes and... What a gorgeous place for a walk! Right off Granada Blvd, this is a hidden oasis. Waterfall and water features, beautiful landscaping, winding pathways, so many hidden treasures! We saw so many turtles! The art museum is a lovely way to cool off in the air conditioning for a bit, and they request a small donation. Just a lovely way... More

A wonderful, intimate little museum featuring local artists work. Nice place to introduce children to a museum walk, not so large and overwhelming as some others.

A must see while in Ormond Beach. Even if you only have a little time to walk through the museum and the gardens... that's all it takes - a little time. Great for photos and nature walks. I was surprised at how quiet it is, as it is close to the main strip (Granada Blvd). Very soothing and relaxing!!

The art museum itself was closed and being renovated when we were there but we were allowed to walk around the grounds. The gardens/grounds are gorgeous and a really nice walk along the place. Kids would enjoy walking through the paths and adults can meander through the grounds. It would be a great place to bring a book and sit... More

I love this museum. It's a lovely building with nice space inside for shows. It has excellent rotating exhibits and the gardens are superb. We also go there for art classes from time to time.

Perhaps it was because we were there on a weekday, but we found the Gardens in particular to be a delightful escape from the world for a time. It was just the two of us as a couple, on a not too sunny, partly chilly mid-day. One of the things we enjoyed most was there was a little "surprise" waiting... More

Sweet little museum where we went for "Colored Pencil Society of America International Exhibition". Interesting setting of the works of art made by colored pencils. I'm sure they are not the pencils kids use. I liked few pictures very much. Museum itself is a one story building with few exhibit rooms and a little souvenir shop. Outside the museum is... More
