The area can be a bit "shady"....make sure you park your car in a lot that is being ran by the Citrus Bowl itself, not on a side street.

I think the title says it all, It is the home of a few college football BOWL games and they have other events like monster truck ralleys and concerts, but it is an older arena and in a bad neighborhood

Attended the Champs Sports Bowl in late December 2011. This is an older concrete stadium with a horseshoe configuration that has one end zone open. There were individual plastic seats (no backs) in the 200 level where I sat, but they weren't wide seats and things were tight. I believe the upper deck is concrete bench seating.

Overall good experience, was surprised at the lack of security going in. Stadium is a little old but kept up, field looked to be in good shape.

I took my family to see the game Dec 29th between Florida State and Notre Dame.
It was the largest crowd there in game history.
The stadium is old and public parking is mostly on the streets and in peoples yards- perfect for tailgating but the neighborhood is rough so be careful. Come to the stadium off Church St and...

Saw the Champs Sports Bowl here (Florida State v. Notre Dame). We sat around the 15 yard line on the east side of the stadium, about 16 rows up. Due to the way the stadium was designed (the large opening on the north part of the stadium), the acoustics are not great if a band is close to the opening...

This is an older facility in a run down part of Orlando that doesn't appear to be used very often. That said, the facility itself is adequate to watch a football game. However, I was disappointed in the management of the event.

The absolute worst pre/post game transportation set up I have ever experienced at a major event. Tried to do the right thing by using the city provided bus shuttle from the Amway Center. Getting to the stadium was not terrible but the TSA (yes, I said TSA) check to get on the bus was kind of ridiculous considering you got...

Had a great time at the Champs Sports Bowl, but really Orlando, a top notch attraction City with this stadium? It's not only in need of a total make over, it's in need of a move to a different location! Facilities are inadequate, scoreboard and screen are amateur, the speaker system was terribly loud except when needed, there is nothing...
