Wonderful place to stroll though various regions of the woods and wetlands. Great educational "welcome" center where families can learn about Florida wildlife and their habitats. Wear comfy shoes (sneakers) as some parts of the trails are quite sandy. Bring your lunch and make a day of it. More

I'm a local, and I didn't know about this place because I usually avoid the tourist side of Orlando. Such a great break from everything. Locals can enjoy Florida outdoors, and tourists can stop by for some quiet. If you need to be entertained there's nothing for you, if you'd like to hear yourself think you'll love it. More

My boyfriend and I were in Orlando for a week visiting my family, and after living in Orlando for 20 years, I am very over the Disney, Universal, Sea World tourist traps. We enjoy doing something local and cheaper, and I remembered this place. A quiet, peaceful alternative to the chaos and traffic of Orlando. Right down the street from... More

My sister-in-law and I visited the Tibet-Butler preserve this past week. Tired of Theme Parks and Outlet Malls, this beautiful nature preserve was a welcome change! There are several miles of trails including all kinds of Florida plants and included a dock near a lake where we watched Ospry, Egrets and other water birds. And it is only about 10... More

My family went here for a few hours while in Orlando, and it was lovely. Nice little nature center and shop and then several trails ranging up to a few miles through the preserve. A little muddy in places but otherwise easy to walk on. There's one spot where there's a large swamp area and signs about the wildlife you... More

Tibet Butler Preserve is the Old Florida, a well maintained boardwalk through the type of natural beauty that has made Florida famous. It's free and so refreshing to the soul, a great place for locals and out of state visitors as well to see what Florida is really like instead of the plastic world of the theme parks More

We went to the Tibet-Butler Preserve, so that we could do something relaxing and low-key on Thanksgiving day. This is probably the only thing I have done in Orlando so far that is free. If you love nature and enjoy walking, there is every reason that you should enjoy coming here. We were lucky enough to see a little grey... More

I enjoyed going here mostly because it was a free attraction off the beaten path of the theme parks. If you go near the rainy season, definitely bring your rubber boots as many of the trails have standing water or are flooded. There is an interpretive guide for many of the viewpoints and many opportunities to see what Florida looked... More

This place is terrfic, if you are trying to see the real Florida come here. Nice trails to walk on (except during the rainy season June-Oct) they can get wet but you will love them. A nice nature center with exhibits on the area and its Free! Open Wed-Sun. Call for hours. More
