My wife and two girls spent the last three day here and had a good time. This is the first time we brought the girls. Island of Adventures is the best the two parks. The rides and scenery is more adventurous than at Univesal Studios. The best area the park is the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The buildings and... More

Much better than I expected. The Harry Potter section was amazing. It was crowded, being spring break, but it never seemed to have HUGE lines like I've had at the Mouse House. The Spider-man ride was great. The Hulk took my breath away. Jurassic Park was great (a little hokey, but nothing too terrible). The Harry Potter ride was more... More

I would go in January next time. It was 90 degrees and little shade. I rented a motorized scooter which was a great thing for me as I never would have made it through the day.

We were the victims of our own misplaced expectations. We thought this would be more of a "behind the scenes" look at the various Universal movies that are represented here. Instead, the "themes" are merely backdrops for another carnival ride. The hordes of kids loved it. Seniors might not find it as interesting or worthwhile.

My husband, daughter, and I went to Universal's Islands of Adventure with high expectations because of the Harry Potter area. We've had great times at the sister Universal Orlando park and expected the same, but we were disappointed. The rides that are not totally kiddie things (she's too old for Dr. Seuss area, etc.) are all roller coasters, which she... More

If you love to ride roller coasters this park is for you. If you love Harry Potter than your in for a treat. They are expanding the Harry Potter with a train ride on Hogwarts Express and a few more shops. Small children can have fun in Seuss Land. It's a great place for the younger crowd. My only suggestion... More

Lots of rides...lots of eats...lots of souvenir shops...lots to look at and just enjoy!!! Plan to spend the entire day and wear comfortable clothes, especially shoes. I went during the end of May and it was HOT! FL has lots of scattered showers also. If you like the rides, there are free lockers to store your stuff using fingerprint locking.... More

We went to IOA (not Studios) and really enjoyed the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. This was the first spot in the park we went, and didn't have long lines for anything. Our longest wait was 20 minutes. When we went back later in the day, lineups were MUCH longer for everything, including the Butterbeer (highly recommend the frozen one!).... More

This theme park offers many thrill rides without awfully long waits. Harry Potter was without a doubt the busiest area of the park, the ride queues were not too bad but to get into the other attractions was a long wait. The park does not always have accurate wait times, they were either well under which is fantastic or well... More
