There is no reason for Universal to have two parks, except to rack up more fees for their visitors. So, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter was completely packed (like the streets of Bombay) all day long, every day, and the rest of the park was pretty much empty. It was small and narrow. Harry Potter area needs to be... More

This park is the better of the two universal parks. Buy the express pass to bypass the lines. It is well worth the cost. It saved us a bunch of time.

Islands of adventure has more thrill rides. We bought the 14 day 3park unlimited tickets from ticketmomma. At this park my 3 year old loved the dr. Sues area. The train ride was perfect but she was just tall enough to ride (40inches). My 9 year old and I rode Harry potters castle ride and dr. Dooms free fall. I... More

So, you should go to Universal BEFORE you go to Disney. The difference in service levels and staffing is pretty stark, so going after Disney makes all of that so much more noticeable. There is no crowd control going on at Universal. People get through the ticket line and then run to Wizarding World of Harry Potter (WWoHP), and will... More

The Harry Potter and the forbidden journey is possibly the best ride we have ever been on! Other rides were good too but the Harry Potter rides were the best, we liked the Hippogriff ride too.

There is no park like this one! I did not try Bush Garden yet, but I visited all other parks in Disney, and this is the only park I can go a whole weekend. I like it a lot!

While the other theme parks all have good things to offer, the best collection of thrill rides in Orlando for me is at IOA. I particularly like the Hulk coaster and Duelling Dragons plus Spiderman although not as much a thrill ride is still one of my favourites in Orlando. If you go on Bilge Rat Barges be prepared to... I just love the theming of this place. Lots of different "lands" to explore with lots of fun rides. Check out the Harry Potter section if you must, but don't leave it at that. There's so much more to this park that makes it great.
