I have a 3.5 year old who is obsessed with Jake and the Neverland pirates. We booked our disney vacation somewhat last minute and had 3 weeks to plan. I read online that the pirates league offered a Jake Experience so I NEEDED to book it for my son. I called 2 weeks ago to book the experience was told... More

My boys had a blast getting to become real pirates! We brought pirate costumes from home and just had their faces painted and picked up some gear. I was able to get appointment times together and a few hours before the Halloween Party started so that they were ready and in costume.

I was disappointed because after getting made up we were told we would be in the third group to go in the secret room and this would take an hour. We had lunch reservations and of course I did not want to sit on a crate for an hour waiting so we a paid and left and were given fast... More

We did this experience for the first time with my 6 year old daughter and 8 year old son and they absolutely loved it! My son was a pirate while my daughter did the mermaid makeover. It was well worth the money and we will definitely do it again! You can see my full review and pictures on my blog:... More

My pirate loving kids (8, 4) loved this! They got their faces painted, got a new pirate name, and other accessories while talking pirate with the staff. This was one of our favorite things at Disney, good for girls and boys. At the end, there is a disney photo pass photographer taking pictures. My kids loved this!

I was so happy to get an appointment for the day of our halloween party. I had dropped the ball and forgot to book 6 months ahead. We walked in around noon and got an appointment for 515pm which worked out so good because the party started at 7 and by the time we got out the sun was going... More

My grandsons saved their own $ for the Make Over at the Pirates League- They had a reservation, all set up. IT was a rainy day-so when we arrived we asked if their mom and aunt could JOIN IN...and due to cancellations they did. IT is vey interactive and entertaining. GREAT photo opportunity. WE did tip our make over artists.... More

My 4 year old son who is infatuated with pirates and I had this experience together. The make-up artists were accommodating enough to give us side-by-side seats. I felt a bit silly, but my son was about as excited as I've ever seen him. I actually thought they were going to do more to make him look more like Captain... More

I booked myself a mermaid makeover on Sept 27. I figured this would be a good alternative to bringing a costume for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. This was SO AWESOME!!! From the second I got there, cast members talked to me in pirate speak, picking on me bc I was "not to be trusted" because everyone knows mermaids... More

The Pirates league within wdw Magic Kingdom is fantastic. My four year old had a mermaid package last year and today chose the empress makeover. For the money, just over $40 it's great value. She had her nails painted and make up done, you get to keep the lipstick and nail varnish. Then a bandana put on, an eye patch... More
