Disney designed this experience for their older guests, providing them both with information and a bit of Disney-Adventure. The normal tour included with admission carries you by truck through their safari lands. This Trek is an additional charge and provides a personal tour for a small group. They created a trail that wanders through the river portion of their Safari... More

We were really impressed, mostly with the gorillas. Our trip had great timing as there were two babies and that was so cool to see. One was playing with a toy right in front of the viewing area. Another was catching a ride on it's mama's back. The trek isn't too long. It's slightly cooler too being in the shade.

I really cannot speak highly enough about this. I thought this was just a more intimate Kilimanjaro safari tour with a truck taking less people on slightly different routes from the free tour- HOW WRONG WAS I !!! I was so wrong that i turned up in flip flops- NOT the correct type of footwear for this but the staff... More

Took my girls on this trek last year and it really was worth every dime. Very special to be so close to the animals and you really did feel like you were out on a Safari. Be sure to dress comfortably as there is a fair amount of hiking and it can get hot. A bonus was having a snack... More

We enjoyed this ride so much. It had just rained so the it cooled off and the animals were out. It's a great way to see animals that may not be in your local zoo see in a somewhat normal habitat. Disney does a great job at preserving our wildlife for all to see. Great for the whole family .

A fabulous 3 hours 'trek' crossing hazardous ravines above hungry crocodiles - well - one could almost be in the wilds of Africa...! We were joined by experts who gave lots of information about their speciality - on hippos and on crocodiles. We were able to spend more time watching the animals and absorbing the experience. I like the Kilimanjaro... More

Love this Disney experience. You are able to see real wildlife up close and not in cages {at least that you see}. It is safe and a lot of fun! Pretty much as close to an African Safari you are going to get in Florida lol. The children will love this as well as adults
