This was the best experience my son and I have had at Disney World, ever! We will now add this to our must due list every time we go. Our guides, Abbe and Aaron, we great and kept the tour entertaining for all ages. We loved walking behind the scenes and see the hippos and crocodiles up close. We also... More

I wrote a review about my experience in booking Wild Africa Trek on March 19, 2014, but it seems that Trip Advisor took that review down. I booked by phone in March for our Wild Africa Trek in June 2014. I was immediately concerned because I gave the lady on the phone my credit card info to book a $400... More

I surprised my Mom and Dad with the Trek for their 40th Anniversary! We checked in early and then hung out across the way nibbling on fruit we bought at the stand. Then when it was time we went back and signed our life away to Disney and then locked up our purses, wallets, phones etc in lockers there at... More

Had a fantastic time! The Disney staff were superb. Top notch activity. It is a little pricey, especially when adding to it the cost the park entrance, but I think it was worth it. The highlights were the walks over the bridges, the lunch in the savannah with incredible views of the animals, and the "behind the scenes" tour. Well... More

The price seemed a little steep, but we decided to try it anyway. Animal kingdom is my least favorite disney park and I wanted find a way to enjoy the day. Two knowledgable guides led our small group through the behind the scenes in animal kingdom. They were fun and safety conscious. Also they would answer anything asked about the... More

This tour is rather expensive; but I enjoy it so much that I have done this several times. Part of the cost goes to fund the conservation efforts. The tour also includes photos and a delicious, light lunch. The animal experiences were amazing. It was wonderful seeing the animals from different vantage points and also being given the time to... If you can swing the extra bucks, this is a tremendous tour! There were only 11 people in our group. Two guides. We learned so much about the animals and conservation. The experience of being hooked to a guide wire, walking on a rope bridge over crocs and hippos is one we'll never forget! Brunch in the bush was very... More

Tour was scheduled to start at 11:45 a.m. We were told that we had to wait for a family coming late. At 12 p.m. our group left for a very short hike of about 15 minutes which included a stop to watch hippos being fed and photos. We continued to cross a primitive bridge which was the highlight of the... More

This is a MUST do!!!!! Two energetic knowledgeable guides lead the approx. 3-hour hike, the hiking terrain is easy to light medium, it can be slick with the leaves, or may have minor trip hazards with the roots. The view of the animals can be up close, the rhinos came right be the truck, unfortunately, the giraffes were not as... More
