I was a little hesitate to spend $200 per person, But this was so worth every penny! Our guides were so knowledgable and super accommodating. We had great views while they feed the hippos. Walking across both bridges was exciting. The safari truck ride was similar to the normal ride but truck pulled over several time for photo opportunities. We... More

So this is an add on tour at Disneys Animal Kingdom you have to pay for separately. It is fairly expensive however you get: a 3hr personal tour with tour guides, behind the scenes tour, special safari through savannah, a food snack (which tastes great) on the wooden lodge building - with amazing views, free photos included, souvenir water flask... Yes this tour is PRICEY... but to me it was worth every single penny I paid. I went on the first tour in February. It was chilly but I found that the animals were very active and the park didn't open until 9, so the Savannah was practically just us and the animals. When we arrived we had to sign... More

My wife and I did the 12:30 Trek on Saturday, August 25th. We have been annual passholders for years and have done the safari countless times, but this was a completely different experience. We went out with a group of 10 and 3 guides, which were all terrific. The highlights for us were: being up close and personal with the... More

We took the Trek at 8 a.m. in July of 2014. After arriving at Animal Kingdom at 7:30, we waited to the left of the turnstiles and were greeted by two guides. After all 10 participants arrived, we walked back to the Kilamanjaro Safari area and were fitted with a vest for our trek. We started on the Pagani Trail,... More

Worth every penny! I went solo on this tour and had a blast. It was educational and the proximity to the animals cannot be beat. The rope bridges are the best part of the tour and an experience I will not forget. Lunch was delicious and I was worried because I am a very picky eater. The juice is also... More

The trek was fantastic. Me and my boyfriend went in late July, and I was worried the animals would be inactive and it would be extremely hot. However the animals were EVERYWHERE, all running around and being extremely entertaining. In addition the trek guides did a wonderful job of keeping us cool. In fact I was hotter walking to the... This was the best experience my son and I have had at Disney World, ever! We will now add this to our must due list every time we go. Our guides, Abbe and Aaron, we great and kept the tour entertaining for all ages. We loved walking behind the scenes and see the hippos and crocodiles up close. We also... More

I wrote a review about my experience in booking Wild Africa Trek on March 19, 2014, but it seems that Trip Advisor took that review down. I booked by phone in March for our Wild Africa Trek in June 2014. I was immediately concerned because I gave the lady on the phone my credit card info to book a $400... More
