This course is so much fun to play. It is tough to put. Once hit 9 greens on front and shot 7-8 over.

Dear Brad C: We're so glad to hear you had fun while playing the New Course. It can be challenging with the pot bunkers! We hope you'll come back soon and try our other courses. More

I had never seen a links style golf course before but it was very nice and very well maintained. It is really different with wide open fairways that have pot bunkers strategically placed. The greens were fast and rolled smoothly

Dear Stelly3665: Thank you for your kind review! We're glad you enjoyed the uniqueness of the New Course. There is truly non other like it in the area. When Jack Nicklaus designed it, he did so with features seen at the Old Course at St. Andrews, such as the Road Hole, Hell Bunker, and the Principal's Spectacles. We hope you'll... More

Played the new course. It was very wet. It's an unusual course and I'm not sure I like it. The greens were very, very fast and some players 4-putted and some even putted their ball off the green and into water hazards, eve after being struck so soft ball barely made it to the hole, but never quit rolling. I've... More

Greetings, youraway: Thank you for your comments. Central Florida experienced unusual weather earlier this month, where we received upwards of 2" of rain each day for a few days, so unfortunately, we were wet. However, now that the unusual weather has passed and we are experiencing beautiful, sunny, Fall days, our courses are in excellent shape. The New Course is... More

the service from 'tee to green' was great. The downside was that the greens seemed to be a bit rough for a course of this caliber.

Greetings, alex n: Thank you for your review! We're glad to hear our service was 'up to par'. With regard to the greens, we had aerified in July and it's possible that when you golfed, our greens had not completely healed. I encourage you to come out and give us another try. Our courses are in spectacular shape! More

Having played the Old Course at St Andrews, this course was great to play. Many of the holes really did remind me of the Old Course although the grass is completely different due to the climate. The facilities were excellent and the staff couldn't do enough for us. I've never played a course where the facilities were so good and... More

Greetings, Sean M: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're glad you had such a wonderful golfing experience here with your daughter. When Jack Nicklaus designed the New Course, it was his homage to the Old Course at St. Andrews so he 'duplicated' many of the great holes, such as the Road hole, Hell Bunker, etc. It was... More

It's not cheap to play here (about $90 for a round on the New Course), but it's worth the money to play on a well maintained, Nicklaus-designed course. We played during the summer and with little to no crowds, finished our round in about 4 hours. The course was surprisingly wide open which is good for people who like to... More

Definitely our favorite golf course in Florida. Always playable even if maintenance has been done recently. Course is almost always in great to excellent shape. Golf course staff friendly and professional . Play on weekends can get busy since play is no longer limited to people staying at the Villas or the Hyatt. If you are visiting Florida and only... A good style links course (150 bunkers) that any level of player can play. While the bunkers are very well placed - yes you will find your tee shots in them, they still allow the higher handicap to play the course and not be overly intimidated. The lower handicap golfer will find this course a challenge too - especially when... More

Knew very little of this course prior to going but v impressed. The description is incorrect. Accuracy far from key. Enormous fairways and greens. So manicured. Everything immaculate. Many people there for the copies of St. Andrews, the essence of which runs through many of the holes (hidden and pot bunkers, gorse at side of fairways and double greens) Really... More

This course is a real treat. Course conditions were excellent, fairways were immaculate and the rough was challenging but not brutal. Plenty of comfort stations throughout the course. Many holes easily recognizable to its sister course in Scotland. Be sure to play this course.
