There are many ways to enjoy your Orlando vacation, but there is only one place where vacation becomes adventure: Universal Orlando Resort. It is a unique destination featuring two theme parks, Universal Studios Florida and Universal's Islands of Adventure, three magnificently themed on-site hotels and a nighttime entertainment complex. It's the only Orlando destination where you are not just entertained - you become part of the most exhilarating entertainment ever created. You can soar above Hogwarts with Harry Potter, swing above the streets with Spider-Man, battle aliens alongside Agent J, and help Shrek save Princess Fiona in Shrek 4-D. Now open: the new, heart-warming and hilarious Despicable Me Minion Mayhem ride. And coming soon: Transformers The Ride-3D. Universal Orlando Resort is part of NBCUniversal, a Comcast company.

Never in a million years did I ever imagine I'd get to see what it feels like to ride a flying broomstick, but that's exactly the experience you get during the Forbidden Journey. It's really an amazing ride, and so realistic that you'll be a little shaky when you get off. It soon passes and you'll want to go back... More

There is nothing not to like about this place. I strongly recommend to stay at one of universal's onsite hotel so you get access to this place one hour before the park opens to the public!!

We visited WWOHP during the original Hogsmeade opening's preview. While it was awesome, they had some issues with merchandising and food and Ollivanders. Those have been fixed, and the new Diagon Alley is amazing. Escape from Gringott's is every bit as cool as you've heard. I was a bit worried about whether the roller coaster portion would be too intense... More

We purchased an interactive wand for our grand-daughter which cost almost $50 but she had so much fun using it at the various interactive places that it was well worth every dollar. We visited almost every day of our 9 day stay!

It's probably very well done but it is SO CROWDED we could not wait to get out of there and back to the sanity of regular theme park crowds even though this was not during high season. I'm sure some people enjoyed it but it's impossible to spend time looking around and enjoying the experience. We had our 7-year old... More

"The Wizarding World of Harry Potter" - Universal's Islands of Adventure brought to life all of the books which we have read (and all of the films which we have seen). More recently (April 2015) we've been to Warner Bros "The Making of Harry Potter" in the UK - which you must do if you want to see where all... More

There are 2 areas to enjoy the Potter environment. One in each park. Hogwarts Express travels between the 2 parks and requires separate tickets. Universal should issue cards or such so that using the train is easier than pulling out your printed paper tickets to have scanned. Still, fun to watch people's expression when they enter The Alley. Both sides... More

Even if your not the biggest Harry Potter fan this part of universal is a must! It felt a bit like being back in England due to the English-like architecture and buildings. When we first arrived in this part of the park the wait was about 120 minutes for the main Harry Potter ride. We felt this was a bit... More

Brilliant area, gets very busy! The train between the two parks is amazing, worth travelling both ways! Be aware, the "Ginny Water" is very expensive just for water!

We were very impressed with the whole Wizarding World of Harry Potter experience, the details, the quality and the quantity. Whether you are a Potter fan or not you can appreciate the work that has gone into recreating Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley. Of course you have to try the Butterbeer and Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey is a great... More
