We attended Sunday mass at the Shrine during a recent business trip. We had gone there several years ago, and still marvel at the beauty of the huge church. The church entrances are a bit of a walk from the parking lots, so give yourself another 10 minutes to get from your car to the doors!

My husband and I went to the 6:00 Sat. evening Mass and arrived quite early, so we decided to check out the beautiful gardens. We have been here before but never got to check out the gardens. They are well manicured and you can mediate at several different locations if you like. They also have the Stations of the Cross,... More

Had some spare time before a dinner reservation so we stopped here and walked around, beautiful grounds, free parking, church was open and we walking around in side for a bit. You'll only need 45 minutes or so.

This is over by the Designer Mall Outlet Stores, and most drive by, but it is well worth a visit. This is actually a Basicila dedicated to the Blessed Mother, and dedicated by Pope John Paul. It has an outdoor shrine, which I believe was there before the church. Even though it might be considered fairly new in Catholic Standards,... More

If you are Catholic, you must take a few hours and visit the Basilica. Truly beautiful. The parking is quite a mess on the weekends though, so for Sunday Mass we tend to try to find a local parish to visit. But if you visit during the week for the noon Mass, it is calm and peaceful.

Been to Orlando to visit Disney three times in the last five years and have celebrated Mass here each time. It's very convenient to the Sea World, Walt Disney World, and the surrounding hotels and timeshare in and around the Kissimmee and International Dr area. It's definitely designed for tourists, having a ton of seating in a large, open format.... More

A large modern church that works. Everything fits together very well and it is spiritual, not sterile like many modern churches.

Really enjoyed our time here~ the artistry that has been put in to the grounds are just impressive! We were there in time for the 6:00 vigil and heard the evening bells ring. Enjoyed the museum and rosary garden. Great opportunity to reflect and connect.

Such a beautiful church right in the heart of the tourist district. But, this church is surrounded by gardens and is very peaceful to visit. If you are in the area around Christmas time you must see the Nativity scene. Spectacular. I live locally but love visiting this church as I did today, Ash Wednesday
