We were in Orlando for 12 days before we went to DTD which was a shame as it turned out to be great fun and we only had two days left. Apart from the Rainforest Cafe which is always good, the huge Virgin store (teenagers love this) and Planet Hollywood which is also always pretty good there is Disney Quest.... more

Just returned for a hot fudge sundae and the prices have gone up to $7.95 for 2 small scoops of ice cream, anything extra on it is 50 cents each item. They are good but not for that price. more

We had a great time in Downtown Disney, especially in the Marketplace. If you collect elongated pennies, there are tons of machines there, and guest services can give you a map of them. Downtown Disney is spilt into 3 area's. Market Place This is where you will find all Disney shops, that sell just about everything. If you don't want to shop whilst in the parks or you just fancy some Disney shopping this is definately the place to go. Went down here during a rain storm to pass some time. The shops were rather lack luster and something to only be visited once. You could find better and less expensive souvenirs elsewhere.
