We had our fill of theme parks so we decided to check out this garden on our last day. It's a short drive from Universal. The gardens are very nice and the original house is now a very interesting museum. Very relaxing. This is a pleasant way to spend a couple hours if you're looking for a break from the... More

Wow, 50 acres of beautiful gardens. Best visited when it is cool, it is spectacular if you like such places. A vast variety of plants, there are other features that will impress. Visit Leu House for sure, the male tour guide was so enthusiastic, it made it even better. At least a day could be spent here enjoying the gardens... More

We were hesitant to visit during our Labor Day week-end trip, due to the heat and rain. As this was a reciprocal admission price with our yearly membership to another botanical garden, we figured we had nothing to lose. With umbrellas in hand, we strolled through the gardens just following a heavy rainstorm, and completed our visit without getting caught... More

We decided to go to Leu Gardens on a whim on Labor Day. What a nice surprise that the first Monday of the month is free admission. Yeah! We had a very nice time walking around and taking pictures of the flowers and landscape. My 10yr old daughter really enjoyed it and especially enjoyed the house tour. She really liked... More

Living only an hour's drive away, I had been meaning to visit Leu Gardens for several years. I finally made it in July... well, we could have picked a cooler month! But despite the mid-summer heat and humidity, the lush gardens provided enough shade and places to rest that it was still a wonderful experience... one I will repeat in... More

This wasn't on any of the lists of things to do in Orlando - but it really should be. It's a stunning collection of plants - some you've seen, most you haven't, and some are just plain weird. There are themed areas - the white garden, the ideas garden, the tropical stream garden... There's a 'don't feed the alligator' area.... More

It would have been a fantastic visit in cooler weather. We went first thing in the morning and it was steamy by the time we left. There is one small indoor building to tour (and cool off in). On the plus side, we saw many unusual plants are were pleased to see an abundance of signage so we weren't always... More

After having the dissapoiment of driving 45 minutes to see a movie that was already sold out, my family decided to try the Harry Leu Gardens. I didn't know what to expect but I have to say that I was blown away of the beauty of this place. To say it have thousands of different plants, trees, roses, etc would... More
