Leu Gardens is absolutely the best attraction in the city. If you like camelias, roses, palms and other plants, this is the place for you. I go every week and there is always something new in bloom as well as some plant or tree I have never noticed before. A gorgeous place for a stroll whether you are an botanist... More

Once my son got over witnessing a spider on one of the nature trails and he stopped screaming, everything eventually leveled out somewhat. Hes almost as tall as me and he was begging me to carry him in the intense heat the rest of the way. Which brings me to an important suggestion for visitors. Please consider visiting the gardens... I went to see the butterflies and there are only plants that attract butterflies and very few butterflies. The flowers and gardens are okay.

This is a great park in the city. Because it is in the city there are also plenty of great places to eat near by, and other things to do. The park itself is large and very well maintained. Saw lots of wildlife, including butterflies and turtles. I really wanted to see an owl, and when a nice park worker... More

I have loved Leu Gardens for years. This year I finally went to a movie night in the gardens with my husband, and really enjoyed myself. I wish we could pack a picnic but you are not allowed. Only for the movie night which was nice because you could bring wine :)

Sometimes, you just need a gorgeous, tranquil getaway. Leu Gardens is just that. We are fortunate to live in the Orlando area, and regularly visit Leu Gardens. (We generally mark the calendar to take advantage of the FREE ENTRY ON THE FIRST MONDAY OF EVERY MONTH.) The gardens are ever-changing with the seasons. There are well-marked paths, a lovely rose... We visited the gardens this past Saturday, July 11, 2015. We spent three hours wandering among the various garden areas and were extremely impressed with the variety of plants displayed. We appreciated seeing all the plant identification labels. The various garden areas were impressive and well maintained. Only caution is to bring bug repellent as we were bothered in the... More
