The Harry P. Leu Gardens are a wonderful, peaceful oasis, a terrific place to get away from the crazy commercialism that seems to define Orlando. Even when the flowering plants and flowers are not all at the best, there is still a great deal of beauty here, and so much to see. There are different styles or themes of gardens,... More

The gardens are a variety of tree, vegetable, flower and grass mini-gardens. Imbedded large "bug" models made of wood. Many places to rest and an lakefront overlook is an interesting place to view the lake, some wildlife and the educational sinage.

For a $10. admission fee we spent a beautiful afternoon at Leu Gardens. The Bug exhibit was fun to see, the roses were beautiful, and the house tour was very interesting and informative of the history of the property and Orlando. There was a lot less walking an it looked like from the map. There were also several very cute... More

These gardens are nestled in a residential area and it is not obvious how large and diverse the gardens are. We have been here multiple times over the years and the grounds are superbly maintained. There is a surprise around each corner and you forget that you are in Orlando.

The gardens are full of magnificent plants, trees and flowers. Some exotic and some run of the mill, but all very lovely. Take a leisurely walk around the gardens and grounds and you will find it very peaceful. If you are into photography there are a wealth of scenery and flowers to photograph.

If you want to be wowed by whimsical trees and colorful gardens and grab your zen from the depths of Disney. Take a brake in the garden of Eden. Beauty and nature intertwined with peace and bugs! Wooden bugs that is ,hand carved intricate big displays to go along with all that zen. Loved it and will be back! Don't... More

Today was a "bug" event in the garden so there were lots of children hunting the bug statues and participating in kiddie painting, and making a pot. Once they cleared out we had a great stroll through the various gardens. Highlights are the deck viewing area where we saw 5 different species of water fowl, one large crane hung out... More

As a person that's not a huge fan of botanical gardens, I did not expect to be blown away -- but that's exactly what happened - tropical gardens are just something else! The sheer colorfulness of the plants and flowers was just too beautiful. I couldn't help myself stopping every few seconds to closely watch a gorgeous plant or flower... More
