My wife is the garden enthusiast in the family, but I enjoyed our visit to the Leu Gardens. We visited when the camelias were starting to bloom, and the collection is quite impressive. The property covers a large area and we spent a couple of hours wandering through the paths. The rose garden is a highlight, although it was not... More

You would be amazed at what they can grow in the center of Orlando. The garden has improved since my last visit years ago.

The Leu Garden is a lovely way to spend an afternoon and an antidote to touristy Orlando. There are just over 3 miles of paths, the plants are signed, and the gardens are varied -- the white garden and butterfly gardens were favorites. The rose garden was being set for a wedding and despite the heat, it was obvious why... More

My sister, who lives in the Orlando area, was married at the Harry P. Leu Gardens in June 2014. My family comes from Missouri, and we all have some amateur gardening aptitude, so we have some familiarity with botanical gardens. Leu Gardens was beyond anything I could have anticipated or expected. As a Midwesterner, I have no experience with citrus... More

With years of success it is unfortunate to see a large decline in quality of management. Employees and volunteers alike are poorly treated and overworked. With many of the plant societies that tended and donated to the gardens for decades, now treated no better than those who would rent the overpriced facilities . Great plants , bad management.

We got married here in September and it was perfect! The staff were all very helpful and everything went to plan! The rose garden in particular made for some great pictures! Would definitely visit again if we were in the area.

This place was just alright for me. I think I may be a bit more spoiled when it comes to gardens. Yes its gardens and yes they have plenty of fresh air and nature to see. The place is big enough but what was hard to understand was the layout. We spent a lot of time walking around trying to... More

Visited the weekend of the 4th of July in 2013. All the girls in the group were going crazy with the flowers and the butterflies flying around. Worth visiting.

Our family enjoys Leu Gardens year-round with its many activities. The Leu House Museum tour is informative and, of course, highly recommended. Also highly recommended is visiting during the winter months if applicable. If you are visiting from out-of-town, tote along some cold drinks and light snacks. Take it easy, during the summer months, as it can be incredibly hot,... More

Was very keen to see an American garden and this attraction did not disappoint. The grounds are large and there are many different gardens. They promote the rose garden, but being British it really isn't that great shakes. However the exotic plants ae beautiful as are the butterflies. You must visits the house and take the tour. Well worth the... More
