We never knew this place existed, until a cousin who was holidaying with us said it was well worth a visit an she was absolutely right. It is a haven of peacefulness in the metropolis of Orlando and gives a break from the busy theme parks. Beautiful gardens and butterflies when we visited and don't forget to take the tour... More

We just finished a Gulf coast tour of Florida visiting several gardens along the way and the Leu gardens stand out as one of the best we have seen. Its location on the lake makes it look even better. Guided tours of his house are offered every half hour without any additional charge. The highlight is the idea garden with... More

The Leu Gardens is a wonderful way to spend a leisurely morning, afternoon, or evening. Once a week the venue offers classical, outdoor movies. Each time I visit there are different flowers in bloom and the scent of the rose garden is wonderful.

My husband was at a conference, and this is part of the great Florida birding trail, so off I went. What a wonderful place. Things are in bloom all year. The paths lead to lots of different sections, including wildflower, rose, citrus sections. There are Los of benches, birds, and a beautiful butterfly garden. Take the tour of the house... More

We decided to visit the gardens on the spur of the moment. I am a life long Floridian and had never made the time to visit. This place is beautiful! The tropical garden is loaded with bromeliads and every kind of palm you've never heard of. I enjoyed the Idea Garden with the bonsai arrangement and giant hanging baskets. There... More

One of best gardens I have visited. History with the Leu House (decorated beatifully at Christmas), wonderful rose assortment that provide fragrance for the whole area. Lots of little shade protected benches and tons of green grass. Lots of concrete paths and wind all over the 20 acres. Butterfly garden has live puppa for you to observe. Great location for... More

We've been residents of the Orlando area since I was one year old and our family has visited this place every once every couple of years. We had complimentary tickets so we decided to go and were very pleased with what we saw. Harry P Leu Gardens is ten acres of beautifully maintained gardens with a house museum that once... More

After visiting Orlando countless times since I was 12 (now 58), we came across by word of mouth Harry P. Leu's Gardens. Located off of I-4 East on Princeton Street, the Leu Gardens is an exceptional 49 acre gardens filled with old oaks, camellias, roses and most everything you can grow in Florida. The setting is majestic, right on Lake... More

If you have a zoo membership you get in Free, otherwise it is $10.00. I have lived in Winter Park for over 30 years and have never stepped foot into Leu Gardens. I decided to go today because it seemed like a good day when no one would be there. I was correct and I was alone inside this beautiful... More
