"Disney's BoardWalk area contains more than 90,000 square feet of shops, restaurants and nightclubs. It encompasses Crescent Lake and is ""a village on the water"" near many Disney Resort hotels in Walt Disney World Resort. This quarter-mile entertainment, dining and shopping area is also conveniently close to 2 Disney Theme Parks. With sherbet-colored building facades, striped awnings, rising columns and archways, Disney's BoardWalk is designed after the boardwalks that were famous during the turn of the 20th century along such coastal cities as Coney Island, New York and Atlantic City, New Jersey.Stroll along Disney's BoardWalk during the day to explore the unusual shops and restaurants. When the sun cools down, the nightlife heats up with street performers, food vendors, midway games and lots of live entertainment.

always enjoy walking around the boardwalk while sipping on an adult beverage or going into the brewery for one. Plenty of places to eat or drink. The circle leads to the Yacht and Beach club too. I usually park in the overflow parking lot and walk through The Boardwalk to the back of Epcot.

if you go to the Boardwalk at night you can get the feeling that you have been transported back to the days of the Atlantic City boardwalk heyday. make sure you stop and watch the street performers and play the carnival games to get the feeling.

There aren't many things to do at Disney that are legitimately free, so it's worth noting when you find them! Access to the Disney Boardwalk is completely free, and fun to visit especially at night. It's well themed and all lit up at night, and an easy walk from Epcot or Hollywood Studios. In terms of things to do, there... More

Perfection! Great restaurants, fun for the kids and parents all around. Best visited at night, but make sure you have reservations or you'll be waiting at least an hour.

I can NEVER not work the Boardwalk into a Disney vaca. It's so convenient to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios, with wonderful ambiance, entertainment, dining and shopping. It's very romantic to stroll along or take a lovely Friendship down Lake Crescent.

This place was the bomb! Great rooms. Great staff. Grounds are perfect. Shops and restaurants are fantastic. Boardwalk entertainment and the closeness to Epcot. What more could you want!

During the day, unless you have a lunch ressie at one of their restaurants, there is no need to make a special visit. However, the place really comes alive at night! Street entertainers and games. if you time it right, you can see Epcot,s fireworks. Would go at least once!

Boardwalk is a great place to walk around n relax after being at the parks all day. It was under construction when we were there but still a great experience. Great restaurants and shopping!

We love Disney's Boardwalk area. There are a lot of restaurant choices and a very delicious bakery! This is also the back "secret" entrance into Epcot, entering near Epcot France pavilion. We rented one of the surrey's and pedaled around the lake...FUN!!! When the lights around the Boardwalk come on at night around the lake, it's just magical. So pretty!
