"Disney's BoardWalk area contains more than 90,000 square feet of shops, restaurants and nightclubs. It encompasses Crescent Lake and is ""a village on the water"" near many Disney Resort hotels in Walt Disney World Resort. This quarter-mile entertainment, dining and shopping area is also conveniently close to 2 Disney Theme Parks. With sherbet-colored building facades, striped awnings, rising columns and archways, Disney's BoardWalk is designed after the boardwalks that were famous during the turn of the 20th century along such coastal cities as Coney Island, New York and Atlantic City, New Jersey.Stroll along Disney's BoardWalk during the day to explore the unusual shops and restaurants. When the sun cools down, the nightlife heats up with street performers, food vendors, midway games and lots of live entertainment.

There was a great view of the fireworks each night from the Boardwalk. We took a boat to Epcot that was interesting and we enjoyed dinner and the fireworks there as well. The Boardwalk offers a few gift shops and several places to eat as well as some specialty shops to make your stay unique.

I enjoyed walking with my family on the Boardwalk. We spent our day to explore other resorts and just to relax and enjoy each other company. I love the ice cream shop, enjoyed the shopping. It has a relaxing, comfortable feel to it. Nothing is rushed for a brief moment you would forget you are at Disney. I would visit... More

It's still very Disney, but not. The shops and bars draw you in, but are very grown up - there's a cigar shop, for goodness sake! The night life is a real sign that Walt is looking the other way, letting you live as an adult, but yet under the safety net that is Disney. Do try it, walk along... More

Enjoyable walk, and stroll along the Boardwalk. Perfect water views and relaxing place. The art gallery was amazing! Don't miss it. Well worth the trip.

The Boardwalk has a little to do for everyone and is a nice place to go that's not nearly as crowded as the parks. There's a variety of eating options at different price ranges for all budgets. There are some carnival type games to play, bike rentals for the family, and street entertainers in the evenings that often ask for... More

Every time I've been to Orlando, I've gone to the Disney Boardwalk. It has nice shops, restaurants, a few rides, and a movie theater. Unlike Universal Citywalk...parking is free. The kids will enjoy the interactive area at the Lego Store.

Have visited this spot on most trips to Orlando. It's nice to get out stroll the boardwalk and try different places, my favorite is Ghiradelli ice cream. It's pricey like all of Orlando, but it's a tourist attraction. Also, one of my favorites is Sunday brunch at the House of blues. Definitely a family spot with Lego experience, Rainforest and... If you fancy getting away from the busy touristy areas of Orlando then come here for a leisurely stroll in the evening. There are a few restaurants, shops and cafes to distract you but mainly it's a relaxing walk around a 1920's boardwalk, and it does feel like you're in another time.

I always try to walk in the morning, especially after an evening of heavy food. Today, I stopped in to the health club at the Dolphin; and, the young man said it was about a mile, round-trip, if I did the whole circuit. So, I made a quick escape from the over-priced hotel; and, took a brisk stroll down the... More

Beautiful scenery but not much else... it has lots of beautiful buildings but not much to do other then look at the area or eat. Disappointed with it!
