It encompasses Crescent Lake and is ""a village on the water"" near many Disney Resort hotels in Walt Disney World Resort. This quarter-mile entertainment, dining and shopping area is also conveniently close to 2 Disney Theme Parks. With sherbet-colored building facades, striped awnings, rising columns and archways, Disney's BoardWalk is designed after the boardwalks that were famous during the turn of the 20th century along such coastal cities as Coney Island, New York and Atlantic City, New Jersey.Stroll along Disney's BoardWalk during the day to explore the unusual shops and restaurants. When the sun cools down, the nightlife heats up with street performers, food vendors, midway games and lots of live entertainment. « less

Going to the Boardwalk and Crescent Lake at Walt Disney World is such a fun experience and place to go! There are so many restaurants and food choices as well as a beautiful scenic view. At night, there are daredevils and magicians out on the Boardwalk to entertain you. It is such a fun place to go as well as... More

This was the first park we visited when we went to Disney World. We found it totally fascinating, sure happy we went there first, as going to Downtown Disney after being at one of the other Great parks we wouldn't have been near as amazed with Downtown park. If you are going take in Downtown Disney, your experience will be... More

Fun for adults and kids can get entertained by street entertainment while the adults have a cold beer and take in the music of dueling pianos or sports at espnzone

By far our family's favorite place to stay at Disney. You have the ability to walk into Epcot and Hollywood studios on the walkway or take a boat to either park. The Entertainment on the boardwalk every night is fresh and fun and appealing to all age groups.

Although we have been to Disney's Boardwalk before, it has been almost 3 years since we last visited. This trip we decided to go back, walk, and just look around. The atmosphere is always pleasant, and the variety of shops and restaurants gives you plenty to look at. During this trip the artist Michael Godard was actually on site in... More

Lots of shops to visit and shop (or window shop), for both kids and adults. Had dinner at the T-Rex Restaurant which was nice. Highlight was the Lego Store. I would consider it more of an evening place to walk either before or after dinner.

March 2014. OK, its not yet high season, but this was less than an 'attraction'. It started with some woman who had clearly failed at the charm school graduation, being unnecessarily abrupt (the other strollers near me used the word 'rude' frequently) about the parking arrangements. No problem to me honey - I am happy to park where you tell... More

I took my wife and mother in law in February. We spent 3 hours there, bought nothing, but had a great time.lots of interesting things to see, like the huge Legos, the working volcano, even a boat ride, all free, including parking. Only Disney activity that does not cost at least $100 a day!

By staying at the swan, dolphin, boardwalk resort or yacht or beach club this is a huge perk of access to great restaurants and EPCOT. If there's a big game you'll always find friends on your side at the ESPN club, great food at Kouzzinas and Flying Fish. Weddings happen here, and it is a great loop for a morning... More
