Owner description: "Disney's BoardWalk area contains more than 90,000 square feet of shops, restaurants and nightclubs. It encompasses Crescent Lake and is ""a village on the water"" near many Disney Resort hotels in Walt Disney World Resort. This quarter-mile entertainment, dining and shopping area is also conveniently close to 2 Disney Theme Parks. With sherbet-colored building facades, striped awnings, rising columns and archways, Disney's BoardWalk is designed after the boardwalks that were famous during the turn of the 20th century along such coastal cities as Coney Island, New York and Atlantic City, New Jersey.Stroll along Disney's BoardWalk during the day to explore the unusual shops and restaurants. When the sun cools down, the nightlife heats up with street performers, food vendors, midway games and lots of live entertainment.

The Disney Boardwalk is worn out and offers little to the tourist and even less to a family on a Disney vacation. What's here? A couple restaurants with average or less quality, a bakery, gift shop, two bars, and some other shops I can't remember. This area is a kids nightmare as there is nothing for them to do other... Okay, I am not a Disney fan. I prefer the real thing. And there are so many real beaches one can go to and see the real thing - Cape May, NJ or just about any beach community along the Atlantic Coast; Mackinac ISland, MI and a multitude of Great Lakes beach communities; and plenty more. But the real disappointment... More

This was so close to the dolphin, easy walking distance. The restaurants and atmosphere were awesome. And when we were finished doing what we wanted, it was a 5 minute walk back to the hotel.

Lovely area to have a casual walk to Epcot or Hollywood Studio's. The shops were well stocked and the staff were friendly. Used the bakery for a hot chocolate which was nice and the lady was so helpful.

Recently spent the day at the Disney Boardwalk. My wife and I first walked around the shops and enjoyed the views from the Boardwalk. We then jumped on the Disney boats and enjoyed the ride around to Disney Hollywood and back. All for "FREE". When we returned we rented the 4 wheel bike and took it around the entire lake,... More

Lovely and Funny place! You can ride a bike for four people, drive a boat, walk in the beach, eat and drink a margarita. Really cool.

There is not much to do at the boardwalk. There was one lame arcade with half the games broke, just a few restaurants, of which not willing to take you early. We waited over an hour since there was nothing for us to do. Will not return.

The rooms are great, staff excellent, and by far the best resort location on the property as you can easily walk to two of the parks. If you choose not to walk the have passenger ferries to take you back and forth. lots to do after the parks close.

Aside from walking, sight seeing and people watching, it was boring and of no interest to our family. The nightlife looks good but it's not what we are looking for.
