Owner description: "Disney's BoardWalk area contains more than 90,000 square feet of shops, restaurants and nightclubs. It encompasses Crescent Lake and is ""a village on the water"" near many Disney Resort hotels in Walt Disney World Resort. This quarter-mile entertainment, dining and shopping area is also conveniently close to 2 Disney Theme Parks. With sherbet-colored building facades, striped awnings, rising columns and archways, Disney's BoardWalk is designed after the boardwalks that were famous during the turn of the 20th century along such coastal cities as Coney Island, New York and Atlantic City, New Jersey.Stroll along Disney's BoardWalk during the day to explore the unusual shops and restaurants. When the sun cools down, the nightlife heats up with street performers, food vendors, midway games and lots of live entertainment.

It is free, and you can walk around the lake, or either rent a cycle for four, and all ride around the lake. It’s calm and you can go for lunch or dinner at the restaurants there. There are a few souvenir stores, boulangeries, and other places to have coffee. It is a very pretty place.

It is a great place to relax. It is not big. It has a few restaurants, bars and snack places. The boardwalk is beautiful but don't expect a agitated night life. It is bad that things close early. The dance hall was empty but we had fun anyway. Try the signature restaurant or stop by to have coffee sitting outside... More

You can walk to the Boardwalk by exiting the gate at the back of World Showcase or by walking out of Studios and following the walkway around the lake (there is a sign!) It is 10 mins from Epcot and 15-20 from Studios, but it is leisurely and quiet. There are also boats - but walk if you can. The... More

This is the place to go when you want to do something Disney other than the parks. Much quieter than DTD. I love that you can sit on the beach and relax. You can walk to Epcot or take a boat ride to HS. I enjoy going into the resort.

Parking is free (show your ID or park right in front of the Entrance) There's bar options, bakery (mmm), is the back side entrance to Epcot. You can take the boat there to HollyWood Studios and Epcot. Free movies (Under the Star movies-all resorts have them) check the schedule under: http://www.buildabettermousetrip.com/wdw-outdoor-movie-schedule/

In our first day we walked from the Beach Club to the Boardwalk. Nice to stroll around, we had lunch at one of their restaurants with outside tables, with a view to the lake, and went back to the Beach Club by boat.

Very nice views from the boardwalk across the lake at the resorts located just behind Epcot. Will be sure to visit in the evening on our next trip to the area.

There isn't anythin spetacular about the place, yet it feels awesome to walk around. Take time and sit to appreciate the sunset; take the kids to the "beach" or just enjoy ice cream. It is lovely like every Disney attraction.
