"Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, one of 2 Water Parks in Walt Disney World Resort, features one of the world's tallest and fastest free-falling waterslides, as well as slides and rides for the whole family—like a kid-sized, snow-castle fountain play area with scaled-down versions of the more thrilling attractions. It's easy to be cool while having fun in the sun at Disney's Blizzard Beach water park! While the park looks like a frosty ski resort—complete with a functioning Chair Lift, it's actually an action-packed water wonderland with exciting waterslides and attractions for the whole family.

If your kids are confident swimmers then on a hot Florida day this can be a great place to unwind and have some water based fun. Flumes and slides are good fun with plenty of other age appropriate activities for all, as the notice states, 'every adult should be accompanied by a child'. Great views of the rest of Disney... When your feet are aching from running around in the parks, this is a great getaway and a fun way to work on your tan. I'm not a big fan of lying by the pool to get tanned, so this is a perfect way for me to get tanned and relax in watery surroundings. Make sure to get a beach... More

We went in Mid October so long since the peak of summer and this was great because we got on all the rides with nothing more than a 15-20 minute wait and often much less. We had been to Typhoon Lagoon the day before which is also amazing and the rides here were even more adrenaline pumping, especially their long... More

Loved the chair lift ride to the top of Mount Gushmore and the trip back down in the Teambot Springs family raft ride. Something for everyone, whether you like extreme waterslides or just floating round on the lazy river. Shame the weather was a bit cool.

Blizzard Beach was a great experience for all ages. Our party had a group aged from 4 years old to 60 years old and there was plenty for all to do. One down side, the pool floor was very course and caused lots of scraped feet and knees. Being that we were at Disney to walk the parks over the... More

This place is great for families and big kids like me. There is a section for toddlers, one for bigger children, a family section with a lazy river then the scary slides. Summit Plummit is not for everyone but I could not go and miss a chance to try it and say i've done it. This is the highest slide... More

A great idea to have a water park like a ski resort but it was too crowded with not enough sun beds and the queues are often in full sun; as you have to leave hats and sunglasses behind it means you are standing in full sun with no protection.
