Typhoon lagoon is a great place to spend a day, we all loved the wave pool part where you have to hold on tight to any little ones as they will get taken away by the wave, the further in you go the stronger the wave is so if you have smaller ones stay near the shallow end of the... More

We'd scheduled a visit to Typhoon Lagoon as a rest day from the theme parks - after all a change is as good as a rest! And in that regard, it worked. We arrived at opening time (10am), bagged a locker and hit the slides. The queues were pretty short first thing - and when we needed a rest from... More

This was my favourite part of our Orlando experience, have been a few times and it gets better and better. The rush if adrenalin you feel when you hear the massive BOOM then see the wall of water rushing at you, even now typing this I can still feel the buzz. We hired one if the cabanas as a treat... We love both water parks at Disney. This one boats a huge wave pool. We have also enjoyed swimming with the Sharks here. The lazy river, sandy beach areas, and kiddie areas make it great for everyone in the family.

Excellent water park for adults & kids. Just watch the floors of the lazy river etc - when we went in 2012 they were seriously rough & my niece grazed her back & her knees. Fab time though and would go back.

You can spend a whole day here! Lockers can be hired for just a few dollars to keep your bags safely stored. Lots of water rides, lovely lazy river & a brilliant wave machine!

I am not a keen swimmer but still found a lot of fun things to do at Typhoon Lagoon. i would also recommend finding the castaway creak exit on the left that goes up stairs. If you go up them there are hoses which you can use to spray people with water!!!

The best part of this water park is the wave pool. It is unlike any other wave pool I have been to. It is not for the faint of heart though; you will need to be prepared for wipeout waves. The park is well maintained and cleaned just like you have come to expect from Disney.

The slides were great. Lots of shade, plenty of sun beds. We went in October and the wait times were about 5 to 10 minutes for most slides. Our boys 7 and 11 loved the place. Last time we went Blizzard Beach but I personally enjoyed this place more. It seems more relaxed and fun with music like the Beach... More

If you love water and slides this is for you. Excellent atmosphere throughout with a good level of lifeguards on hand, a great mix for all ages and plenty of seating throughout. The only issue is the cost of hiring lockers - We always do but found this years to be exceptionally expensive - perhaps better if you had 2... More
