Typhoon Lagoon is a must see stop for our family when we visit Orlando. Years ago we bought ten-day, no expiration tickets which we still have days left, so it feels like it's free (it is not...$50+ a day per adult). The water attractions are well thought out with a lot of variety from Castaway Creek (think lazy river), through... More

great water park with variety of slides for the whole family. our favourite was the crush n gusher - three different slides done on single, double or triple rafts. the castaway creek was also great and there is a good range of rides.

Took the family to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon this year. The waterpark was OK however doesn't compare well with Aquatica a few miles down the road. When compared with Aquatica the rides were slower and less exciting and there were less of them. The Kiddie pool area was smaller and less exciting and the food choices were limited in comparison. The... More

I can be brief about this; Choosing between Wet'n Wild, Aquatica, Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon, the latter is by far, the best water park of them all. Floating around in the main pool (in between the giant waves) is absolute bliss. This park has enough options to chose from, slides, food, relaxation. You can even get a tattoo done.... More

This is a great waterpark with a huge wavepool. Waves can be rough and after the sound goes off a huge wave comes over the pool. If you are a strong swimmer you can go out to where the wave originates and swim over the top. The pool can get crowded and lots of children get knocked down so be... More

I highly recommend adding the " water parks and more " option to your Disney World tickets. It's just a few bucks more per day, but allows visitors and equal additional number of visits/days in the two amazing AMAZING water parks, disney quest, a golf course, and 2 mini golf courses. You will run out of time before you fun... More

we loved the water parks, however the wave pool at typhoon lagoon actually scared me. the height and speed of the wave moves you a long way back from where you were into other swimmers.

If you look at my previous reviews you'll see I'm always pretty positive, I'm not a nitpicker! Having been to Siam Park in Tenerife we were really looking forward to Typhoon Lagoon. It was a blisteringly hot day when we went. Got there as the gates open and searched for shade. And searched...and searched. I was shocked to find hardly... More

There are all sorts of water rides and the huge tidal waves generated by the lagoon is awesome. There are no parking charges for this park which makes it even better value as we were able to visit as many times as we wanted with our 14day pass.
