I went on the Backstage Disney tour with my 16 year old son. I went on the tour with my partner last year and enjoyed it enough to want to share it with my son this year. The minimum age for the tour is 16. (This requirement makes sense as the tour very quickly begins to pull back the curtains... More

crowded, very expensive and the food was preprocessed, cold and tasteless. Very commerical and plastic.

Lets start with the positive. Our tour guides were very sweet. I am certain they do not plan the tour, but show you around a pre-planned tour determined by Disney. Now for the tour itself... what a complete waste of $250/pp. There really was no behind the scenes, other than the fact that you entered from the "back side" of... More

With the cost of this tour I had expected more. I was one of 40 plus people on this tour which made it very difficult to really embrace the backstage experience. The two tour guides were great but getting 40 people on and off a bus and through each tour was very time consuming and often made it difficult for... More

despite energetic guides, you hop off and on a bus for the 7 hour tour, eat a terrible meal and see or learn no more than you will with the backstage tour ( free at the Disney Hollywood studios) or learn more than you can from the interesting trivia books for sale. The tour is 249 per person. There are... More

I am a Disney fan so going backstage to see how it all works is fascinating to me. Disney is the master of hospitality and service. This behind the scenes tour is great for hard core Disney-ites.

We did the longest tour Disney offers, and although my father grumbled, we all had a great time... interesting facts and seeing different areas that are off limits made it great. Our tour guide was very good.... and really, the only complaint was the meal held at the columbia, where, when I asked for some additional drink, it was met... More

Im a bit of a geek with these types of things. I found the history and the old props very interesting. Seeing the old Mickey mouse plane was inspiring knowing that Walt Disney flew in it while buying the properties to build WDW. Many of the old props are bar coded and have info on the sets where they were... More
