Helps get you over your fear

In the beginning, we were all a little squeamish - but after awhile, we all settled in to enjoying the show, and the gators. Educational as well.

It's not a zoo and it's not a wildlife! It's good for the kids to learn about gators. The food quality is not good there so remember to take some sandwiches with you.

I visited with my 17 year old and my two year old and we all enjoyed different aspects of the park!! Just seeing the different breeds of alligator is interesting , and there are signs to tell you about them ( there is even one that was captured from the New York sewers! The shows are fun and my little... More

If you have time you have to make it a point to visit Gatorland. You feel like you are in the middle of nowhere and it adds to the overall experience of visiting the 'gators. The aviary is also a great experience for children and families alike. Besides the 'gators they also have a few exotic birds that are beautiful.... More

We went on Thursday, March 19, 2015. It wasn't busy. My husband returned on Saturday to pick something up noticing that it was very busy - tons of people. Our grandchildren are 9, 8 and 6 and love animals - so they loved everything about the park. We all loved the shows as well.

This was a great find. Our 3 year old son had a great time there. First off, it was good value. We bought 3 premium tickets (which includes gator feeding, train ride, and sitting on a gator) for $101. The staff was very friendly, the grounds and washrooms were tidy, and the gators all looked pretty content. I never had... More

We live about 10 minutes from Gatorland and will often go when we have people come in from out of town. Gatorland is a solid option if you're looking for something to do for a half day or so. There's actually a lot going on in the park and they've recently added a zipline experience (although we haven't personally participated... More

My grandson was entranced by the many gators, and loved the gator wrestling and jumping show. Hint: Buy a bag of turkey franks in site to feed the gators and watch the action

I call this place the anti-Disney! Gatorland is definitely "old Florida." This is a great outdoors place to take kids to see alligators, birds, and other reptiles. The shows are fun; just don't expect the gators to "jump" at the "Jumparoo." They just sit there and let the staff hand feed them!
