Very popular area. Great swimming in clear water. My only complaint is that I've been to parks with a more knowledgeable and helpful staff. They don't have forest rangers, just regular people who don't know anything about wildlife. I was on the trail with my toddler and came close to a thick moccasin and they didn't do anything. I am... The canoe / kayak run is one of, if not the best in Florida and actually in the top 25 in America. The springs are beautifully, and nature abounds!

We visited during a busy time of year and yet it was still a great place to spend time, walk around and enjoy a refreshing swim. The charm of the construction of the pool walls by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s adds a special touch to this beautiful natural wonder in this semi-tropical paradise. The pool is large with plenty of room for everyone. My wife and I also walked for about 5 miles along the Florida trail.....that was amazing. Totally different view of the area.... More

Since moving to the Ocala area over 2 years ago the main reason I did has never disappointed me. I moved here as a second residence from the congestion of Tampa Bay where after 17 years things really felt like they were closing in and I needed to get back to nature. Juniper Prairie is one of the more scenic... More

First visit to these springs today with a friend and 8 year old son. The setting is beautiful! Families everywhere. Full amenities. Will come back for the canoeing. It was a great day!

I think this is the best place in Ocala National Forest. Very nice springs, but very cold!! There is a short but good trail behind the pool that allow you to reach the bubbles!! Wonderful!

I am an outdoor enthusiast and had a great time here. All of Ocala's outdoor recreation places are great.
