Did a day out driving and went to silver springs excellent place with lots to see and do, including Perspex bottom boat very clear, the staff were very friendly and had lots to let you know about. Good picnic area and the park very particular about clearing up after yourselves. Some good walking trils so take your hiking boots along... More

This is a well known and wonderful park from the glass bottom boats to all the other water sports activities. But don't miss the hiking trails and wonderful history museum on the property showing the area history from the Stone Age to present. Enjoy.

Silver Springs State Park was awesome for all of our family & friends. It's very clean & has fun trails to walk on, cabins, rv & trailer camping spots with both 30 & 50 amp. hook ups & water & picnic benches & beautiful shady tree line's everywhere. We saw deer, turtles & heard in a distance buzzing critters throughout... More

We rented a kayak for 2 hours and saw birds alligators and insects really close up. The water is magically clean but note there is nowhere to swim unless you go downstream away from the main circuit. Other kayaking in the area is better but we enjoyed it

Kayaking here is an absolute must do for anyone outdoorsy. We spent three hours two person kayaking and we never expected to see Monkey's, Alligators, and all sorts of fish. An awesome half day adventure!

I remember going to Silver Springs to ride on the Glass-bottom Boats when I was young. I am glad that they are trying to revive the area and bring it back to it's former glory. The boat ride is worth it just to hear the history surrounding the area. I would do it again but when it is cooler. We... More

Entry fee to park seemed high but only $8. Park is week maintained with breathtaking springs. The glass bottom boat is something my kids will never forget see everything up close and under water from fish, turtles, birds, gators and underground statues

We visited on July 2nd. My family drove over from Daytona Beach for a short day trip. I knew of the boats from my childhood, and I wanted to share the experience with my own children. The place has a lot of history and a nostalgic feel to the grounds by the glass bottom boats. Reading a plaque on the... More
