A great spring run to canoe up and float down. Put in and paddle up stream from under the big bridge on Hwy. 40 west of Silver Springs, paddle up into the head springs and float back Incredibly clear water - lazy days. If we could just get the powers that be to quit drawing down the water tables

Lovely place, quite a bit to do. Strongly suggest taking the glass bottom boat tour, it was great. We did the 90 minute tour which I believe it is only available on weekends and they only have two of these each day. 30 minute tours leave every 30 minutes. Pretty well maintained.

Now that Silver River is a State Park it is better than ever, especially for nature lovers. Kayaking the river is a wonderful experience especially with a trained guide from Discovery Tours.

Took the kids down the river. Plenty of aligators and turtle to see. You can even bring the canoe up close. I wouldn't suggest swimming . Since the park closed down and reopen. There is still some of the old fort left to explore. See it now before it is all gone.

This was a beautiful and affordable tour and ride. Clear water and so much information regarding the movies and history that took place here! Found this through a coupon but would definitely go back if in area again!

Stopped here to check out what's here. Was told about the glass bottom boats and Sea Hunt show, and was not expecting much... But I was wrong, what a place!!!! If your here you need to take a tour on the glass bottom boats, the guides and what you see is amazing!

Natural wonder that is well interpreted by glass bottom boat Captain Earl as well as museum staff. However, a rather sedate 90 minute boat tour sans catfish show these days.

We went there three times this winter, glass bottom boat tour is great, we both loved it. Second time we rented a canoe,it was so relaxing we bought a canoe and came back a third. You can see all kinds of fish and turtles the water is so clear. We also seen 3 gators... Will be coming back in fall..... More

We had no idea about this place until one day, on our way back to Tampa, we stumbled upon it. What an amazing surprise!!! The state goverment took over this place about 6 months ago, from what we were told, and it is now only $8 per vehicle open to all. the spring is one of the best, if not... More
