we have visited warm mineral springs several times and are hoping it is open this year.We enjoyed the experience so much.In response to the lady that said things were floating in the water we have never seen anything floating in the water other than people enjoying the springs.Apparently the odd gar fish can survive in the springs but we have... It's so relaxing in the mineral springs to just swim and feel it's healing powers. The history with these springs is awesome, a little pricey but worth at least one visit.

Very interesting, historical place. Hope North Port gets its act together, preserves and updates the facility. There is a fee is you get in the water. Previously had a restaurant that was very good. How much time spent there would depend on your intent.

Great springs, but missing alot- Charge too much for a day pass at $20, supposed to be city run, I guess they are making about a $2K to $4K profit each day based on what I saw the day I went (~200-300 people). Need signs that say it may be best to say in only like 45 min your first... More

I took 7 friends to go with me to the springs because I have heard great things about it. Unfortunately, I am not sure how healing the water is, since I only spent 10 minutes there, none of my friends wanted to even go in even though we paid a ton of money. It looked dirty, water was slimy green... More

Apparently local government as assumed the operation of this classic European-style natural spa. Yes, it does smell, but what would you expect from a "mineral spring"! Restrooms are the only amenity so bring your own food, beverages and seating. The charge of $20 is not so bad when you figure that a movie with drink and popcorn is almost that much.

We enjoyed the day that we spent there. The water was not as warm as other Hot Springs that we have visited. It has a large swimming area plus a very large grassy and plenty of trees to provide shade if you wanted it. The water was actually quite clear but very deep (100 feet+), so yes you cannot see... My fiance had been wanting to check this place out for awhile. I wish we had just looked and not bought. For $40 we got to swim in a nasty, muddy, stinky hole with lots of algea & green moss & thousands of small fish (dont they poop?). I got a sore throat the next day & he couldnt stop... More

The water was warm, that is the only positive comment I can make!! $20 entrance was ridiculously expensive. The parking lot had holes big enough to swallow my rav 4. The front desk lady obviously worked for the state, need I say more the only thing missing was the shovel for her to lean on! The smell of sulphur was... More
