Read mixed reviews but wanted to judge for ourselves. The grounds are lovely BUT the facilities are horrible, old, tatty and broken! The showers weren't even working, no discount! The bathroom smelt of urine, the floors were dirty. The spring it's self was quite nice, smells eggy but that's to be expected, it didn't spoil it. For $20 I expected... More

It is a good place to relax and recharge batteries. This water has a lot of health benefits even though it is smelly. I remember we stayed in the water just for two hours and the smell was with us for a long time, lol. I enjoy the experience very much and recommend this place for other people to visit.... More

What a gem hidden on the SW corner of Florida. Lauded in articles as the second best warm mineral spring in the world because of the mineral content. Many Europeans were visiting the two days we were there. On our first visit after about two and a half hours in the warm spring water, I experienced a euphoric high from... More

Not friendly or welcoming to locals, they appear to prefer an eastern European. elderly visitor. No directions, explanation or assists. Youngsters are not welcome.

Only natural year round warm spring in all of the state of Florida. Also the only known spring that Ponce Deleon is known to have visted more than one time.

This is only for those people wanting a quiet experience.....no music, no distractions......you can sit in an Adirondack chair or walk around the spring in the water....it does smell.....but it feels great and is so relaxing.....so glad it has reopened....lot of non-English speakers which adds to the privacy factor as you walk and talk in the Spring!

I have passed the entrance several times and have always been curious. At first, it was a little strange- a little murky, a little slimey and smelling of sulfur. The temperature was not in the 80s as indicated online. However, the grounds around the spring were beautiful- like an oasis in the forest. Once you start talking to the customers... More

Visiting the mineral springs in Northport has always been part of my annual trip to Florida. I I was.so glad to see that the mineral springs had been reopened after a political dispute last year over ownership had forced it to close. Unfortunately the restaurant and spas have not reopened but the pond looked better than I had ever seen... More

Spent a very nice day yesterday, May 19, 2015 in Northport, Florida in Sarasota County at the Warm Water Mineral Springs. I did not know what to expect. Many of the reviews were not good, which made me feel a bit nervous but still wanted to see for myself. I am glad that I did not listen to the bad... More
