Apparently local government as assumed the operation of this classic European-style natural spa. Yes, it does smell, but what would you expect from a "mineral spring"! Restrooms are the only amenity so bring your own food, beverages and seating. The charge of $20 is not so bad when you figure that a movie with drink and popcorn is almost that much.

We enjoyed the day that we spent there. The water was not as warm as other Hot Springs that we have visited. It has a large swimming area plus a very large grassy and plenty of trees to provide shade if you wanted it. The water was actually quite clear but very deep (100 feet+), so yes you cannot see... My fiance had been wanting to check this place out for awhile. I wish we had just looked and not bought. For $40 we got to swim in a nasty, muddy, stinky hole with lots of algea & green moss & thousands of small fish (dont they poop?). I got a sore throat the next day & he couldnt stop... More

The water was warm, that is the only positive comment I can make!! $20 entrance was ridiculously expensive. The parking lot had holes big enough to swallow my rav 4. The front desk lady obviously worked for the state, need I say more the only thing missing was the shovel for her to lean on! The smell of sulphur was... More

We visited the Springs yesterday, 7/5, and it is much the same except the restaurant, massage services, and other amenities are gone. Current arrangement will continue until 8/29 but after that nothing is yet known. Yes, it smells of sulfur and other minerals but the "out of time" experience is one we enjoy. Most guests are Eastern European and the... More

I've been suffering with a neurological & auto-immune illness for a few years. After trying what feels like hundreds of treatments, a friend suggested I try the Springs. I was a skeptic but I was wowed by the changes I saw in just a few days. Because I'm so sick, I will need to visit a few more times but... More

Beautiful place, very healing. I'm so glad you're back open,we tried to go but it was closed when we arrived. You should concentrate on the healing properties of the minerals in the water, loved the drinking water and mineral salt, seasoned salt that they sold in the gift shop. Also they could have more healing workshops with yoga, reiki, massage, and facials.... More

We visited the Springs twice before it was closed last year and came back again after it was reopened. Reason for coming: swimming and soaking in its mineral water helps us to reduce arthritic pain. Mineral water treatment of various illnesses (balneology) is very old and still common in Europe with numerous specialized facilities (sanatoriums) to provide this type of... More

The warm mineral springs in North Port is the only natural hot springs in Florida. I am so grateful they are back open! The water is so soft, pristine and healing. I love the warm mineral springs and Thank you North Port Government for re-opening the springs! Please start selling the water so that we can take it home to... More

WWMS was a really nice operation last year, now its a very pimited services facility, ie only the watet is open. There are no chairs to sit on, so take it from there. The grounds are well maintained and it is a beautiful site with incredible healing powers. The employees say that in September there will be more services but... More
