Absolutely loved the bird interaction area. They come right up to you, talk back, and have no problem with you petting/holding them. The attached bar/restaurant had fantastic service and a wonderful bartender who even offered to keep our leftover food refrigerated while we enjoyed the mini-golf and animals. Very enjoyable experience and would return.

My husband remembers coming here as a child and wanted to see it again and have our kids experience it as he had many years ago. We have 3 kids (3yo, 1yo and infant) and the older 2 love the animal park. It's free for 3 and under but for all the animals you see its not outrageously priced. My... More

The Shell Factory has been around for over 75 years. There are more things to see besides shells. There is a Nature Park (zoo) that has a playground for little ones, you can feed turtles and ducks and go inside an Aviary where birds will land on you! Very good day trip for children. There are lots of things to... More

We used a groupon to visit the Shell factory. The store itself was interesting. They have an outside bar there with food options. A waterpark of some kind for kids. We didn't visit that. But we loved the nature park! A little run down in areas, but the hands on area where the turltes and iguanas walk around. Peacocks come... More

There are good things about the shell factory. It is affordable with putt-putt being $3 per person instead of $12 like other places. They do have some unique displays such as the pirate display. My son normally likes coming here, but until today we have never gone to the nature park. I took my son to the nature park for... More
