This was my first time visiting with my own family. I grew up in FL and often visited here when i was little, so i wanted my children to experience it. It was very disappointing for my entire family which made the best out of it. Thank god i had only purchased the tickets thru Groupon for the Zoo and... More

This is a great place for kids and adults. Very relaxing nature trail. Very reasonable and has a lil bit of everything. We used coupons to save. There are so many places to go in Lee county that break you. This is not one of them. If your looking for a nice day for the young or old I say... More

We visited for the 1st time after hearing others visit. Good thing we did not purchase tickets ahead of time, as all boats were closed due to water maintenance. The ticket lady said they were honoring tickets for that on a future date. Can't imagine if someone did not live nearby! We had to buy zip line tickets at the... More

This is the classic tourist trap. The "shell factory" is a huge warehouse full of Floridian nick-nacks. The "nature park" is a small outdoor zoo. Do not buy the alligator food, because the fish just eats the food and the alligators do not care. They also have a run down paddle boats (which were filled with ants) an old firetruck... More

We would not recommend a visit to The Shell Factory. Below average facility. Drunk couple still being served beer at the mini-golf course. Not worth the stop or the $$$$. The only thing we enjoyed were the birds in the nature park.

My hubby surprised me by taking me here. They have a HUGE beautiful gift shop from shells to magnets to gator heads and much much more. Then they have different rooms very educational and they also have a year round Christmas room. Can't wait to bring my parents there. Then they have a exhibit room of wildlife and how they... More

This is known as a world-wide tourist attraction, located on highway US-41 right in North Fort Myers, Fl.. It is a place for the entire family with so many displays & shopping that you could spend a half day there. It also has a nature-park with many wild animals, also a awesome restaurant, outside water park for the kids &... More

Our company had their family day out there. Food was barely kid edible (heated up everything, boiled hot dogs....you get the picture) Staff all wanted to be somewhere else. The poor animals in the little cages.....weeds and dirt in these tiny wire pens - many with no observed water in bowls. Gift shop meanders from a room of stuffed animals... More

It was fun to look at all the different kinds of shells but it was your typical tourist trap with everything that goes with it. More for kids and young families.

This one of the go to places with grandchildren. They love the Animal Park, Bumper Boats, and even the shopping. Just went for probably the 6th or 7th time with the grandkids. Fun time, and unique gifts.
