I love going to this place. There is tons to see and do. If you have children - this is a sure fire way to tire them out. Plan on staying or browsing for at least an hour but 2 to 3 hours would be better. You can get food and drink on site as well.

Went there for the Flea Market during the week. Could not believe the expansive gist shop and museum. Must say I was surprised by that. Have somethings for the kids which is good. A zip line and a Nature Park. I expected just a shell factory and was surprised at what it really turned out to be.

Well what's to say retro, cheesy, lots of things to see and do. The rides really take quarters yes and real one!!!!! Haven't been back in 30 years!!! They have added on plenty !!! Total tourist trap, hey we're on vacation to be trapped. Take the little kiddies to the nature park. Small but cute. Free parking

(the good) We liked the area where the birds, tortoises and lizards were free to fly and roam. The gift shop was really big and we found some things for the grandkids that we haven't seen anywhere else. We thought the taxidermy animals were interesting, but (the bad) the air in that room was not of good quality and could... More

I've been living in the area for many years. I was super hesitant to go to this nature park. I had been to the factory part many times but never to the nature park. I am so surprised and happy happy happy!!! So many animals! Pretty clean and lots of fun! One of the employees told me that most of... More

If it was 1960 I'd imagine the Shell Factory would have been quite the tourist spot, but it's 2015. If you get a groupon and just want "something to do" I guess it would fit that criteria, but I'd never consider taking a date there. The zoo area is the only part that's interesting, with that said if you want... More

Stopped for a couple hours to play and then ended our week there to get a couple souvenirs. My husband and daughter enjoyed the zip line. We all went in the paddle boats ($5 a boat for "around 30 minutes" was a good deal!) We didn't pay the $12/person to go through the animal park, thought that was a little... More

I've been to this place several times since family lives up the road and it has something for everyone.Shells of all types although most come from overseas and lots of chachi's. Tee shirts, hats all sorts of stuff. Christmas displays all year round. The place is real interesting. There is a Subway's , a restaurant (not tried) and and outside... More

They do have a pretty good selection of Florida knick knacks and souvenirs. That being said everything is fairly overpriced. My daughter bought some shells stickered for $.99 but later examination revealed charges of $6.59. Coupled with a $7 postcard they got us good. Taxidermy animals show some age but I'm sure they have been abused by previous tourists. Didn't... More

This place is old and run down. The nature park sounds great, but not what you would expect. The animal cages were mostly empty. The Wallaby was fun to watch because it had a baby in its pouch. The petting zoo was a joke!! There was a mini pony in the petting zoo that had a sign posted "I may... More
