Buck Key Trail is too cool!

Great two hour tour for the family. We really enjoyed the buck key trail, especially the funky birds that follow the kayaks while fishing in the shallow water. Very enjoyable

Please be aware this company is no longer in operation! Their website and TripAdvisor pages do not reflect this, and we went out this morning with out of town guests to rent kayaks. Even though the sign is still there, marina employees told us the kayak rental company is no longer in business!

Had such a great time doing the Buck Thorn trail. Truly beautiful, once in a lifetime experience. Very helpful staff, great value for the money! Don't let lack of experience or being a beginner, or having never kayaked before stop you. Really ...really, recommend this to anyone staying on Sanibel, or Captiva! Don't second-guess yourself, just do this trip.!!!

My husband and I are inexperienced at kyaking, but we learned a lot about technique and were fitted comfortably into a tandem kyak. Such great attention was given to us by Barb and her coworker. Any nervous trepidation that I had quickly evaporated. We were sprayed with cool water so that we would not be hot kyaking and we were... More

I kayak often in the area and this should be a wonderful, beautiful and exciting experience. But here, the equipment is poor, convenience is awful and customer service is below acceptable. There are wonderful places all around this area which will provide a wonderful experience. Avoid the disappointment, have a good time - go elsewhere.

We spent Easter vacation week in Captiva and kayaked 4 times with Captiva Kayak. The service, equipment and location are fabulous. Barb and Greg's friendly, knowledgeable style welcomes beginners or experienced paddlers. We highly recommend their rental and guide services, and we'll be back. About the location. Captiva is an island on the Gulf of Mexico side of Florida, with... More

We really appreciated the time that Barb took to explain kayaking to us. In addition, it was so nice when we came back that she spent another 15 minutes teaching our kids about the ocean. She really perked their curiosity. We had a great time on the water. Saw manatees, dolphins, and tree crabs (not sure if this is the... More

They did an excellent job outfitting the kayak for each individual person and were very patient with the inexperienced, which was our whole group. Two hours was just enough, not too long and not too short. We took the tour and learned a lot about our surroundings.

We just did the sunset/moonlight cruise with Greg, a naturalist and an owner of this company. We were surprised and delighted by the quality of the equipment and by the kayaking instruction that Barb, Greg's wife and co-owner provided. No rental company has ever offered us this kind of attention. We became far better kayakers than we had been. The... More

We went there and rented a a double kayak and a single kayak. The equipment was in very good condition. The crew were very friendly and explained us how to handle the kayaks in a quick, yet very clear way. They also told us a lot about the fauna and flora and what we should expect to see and how to... More
