Nice shelling cruise

Staff was wonderful and informative. Price was reasonable. You take your chances on shelling trips on finding shells. Some years or different times of year you may find more.

We took the Captiva cruise to the Useppa island the one that you can watch the dolphins swimming along the boat. We really enjoyed the narrative along the trip of one the sailors. There is an open bar and the cost of this trip is $40.00 per person which includes the trip, the tour and the visit to the museum.... More

We sailed from South Seas marina with Captiva Cruises for a sunset cruise. The catamaran was beautifully maintained, and they hoisted the sails as soon as they cleared the marina. The two staff were very fun and professional. There were only 18 passengers aboard, so the trip was relaxed and romantic! The jumping dolphins were also an added benefit!

This was our second shelling trip with Captiva Cruises. Great boat trip for the kids and us. I almost wish we had done the longer trip as we wanted to stay longer. This time made it a little harder to swim as the current was strong. (I believe there was a rip current advisory.) Once anchored we walked around the... More

Took the day cruise to Useppa Island on the Lady Chadwick. Crew was friendly. Ongoing narration and history by Capt. Bob was well done. Questions were encouraged. The several Dolphin sightings and them swimming near the boat added to fun. Useppa is a private island and enjoyed the walk around it. Lush landscaping and the old homes were interesting to... More

We took the full day trip over to the Cayo Costa State Park. Everything from our reservations to the cruise over and back was handled very smoothly. I would highly recommend Captive Cruises for their professionalism. The day on the island was fun to me, but I am a nature buff who enjoyed the remoteness and the wildlife. We walked... More

Great little trip over to Cayo Costa. Learned a lot about the island from the tour guides on the short 20 minute trip over to the island! Found a few dolphins in the sound, and the boat always stopped to take a look. The island was beautiful, and we found some nice shells! Nice ride back with some more history... More

We enjoyed this dolphin cruise so much that we went two days in a row. Saw many beautiful Dolphins on both sides of the boat. Learned about the wildlife and history of the island from the narrator. Beautiful scenery and relaxing ride added to this unforgettable experience.

We had a fun time on our cruise to Cayo Costa. The people that took our family out were very friendly and knowledgeable. It was a 30 minute boat ride to the island and 30 minutes back. We took the 3 hour cruise, so we had 2 hours to walk around and go shelling. When I called , they said... More

If you're in the area this goes on the must do list. Nice boat tour through the sound with dolphins all around. Be sure to check out the the island and key tours as part of the boat ride. Well worth it !! Especially liked Useppa island. We be back
