Captain Shawn and Richard added to the enjoyable trip from Captiva to cabbage key. On the Santiva we were able to tour close to the various inlets, heard historical anecdotes, enjoyed lunch on Cabbage Key and ended the tour watching the Dolphins play in the wake behind the boat.

Absolutely brilliant day for the whole family exploring the waters of Captiva cruising through Pine Island sound. Really nice, knowledgable crew providing historic commentary and a genuine interest in the conservation of this beautiful area and managing to find dolphins (plenty), eagles and other interesting wildlife to excite everyone on-board. You get the chance to visit either Cabbage Key or... More

Enjoyed a great tour to Useppa Island with excellent narrative on a beautiful sunny day. Very efficient operation, great Bloody Mary's. Only complaint was the lunch which is available in Collier Lodge. Without warning as we arrived at the restaurant we we told that the passengers from the Captiva Cruise boat we required to eat inside and at the designated... More

For 20 years I have been going on Captiva Cruises. They are a first class company. Love their trips to Useppa and Cabbage key. The sunset trip is beautiful and we've even done a dolphin/nature trip. Every trip is fun, educational and laid back. A great way to spend a vacation day, and you will see dolphins(every trip I've been... More

We thought it would be fun to boat from Captiva to Boca Grande instead of driving. Turned out fun and educational as well. Went on Thursday when they have seminars on Costa Cay sometimes and one of the speakers was on our cruise and eloquently spoke of the history of the barrier islands we we passing along our way. We... My expectations might of been too high. Yes,the island of CayoCosta, where your 30 minute boat ride takes you to is beautiful. However, so are all the beaches on mainland Captiva and Sanibel. It was a lot of $, toll road, parking, park entrance fee, and overpriced boat trip that had some narration that could not be heard and the... More

Went the afternoon sailing and shelling cruise to North Captiva and I say it is a must do on Captiva Island. Left from South Seas Resort and the motor was on due to the north to south winds. The sails were raised on the return trip Captain guided us to a sand bar on the fresh water side so we... More

We took this trip before and now realize how important it is to have a good guide on the boat. On our first trip, the guide was humorous, interesting, and made sure to point out and name all the birds. He also provided lots of information on dolphins in a manner that was easy to understand and well-informed. On this... More

While visiting Captiva for the day, we stumbled upon Captiva dolphin cruises. The price was much less than what we thought and the trip was quick which is what we had time for. There's a speaker on board who is very informative about the island history as well as the native birds and dolphin info. We saw a lot of... More
