We went on the Useppa Island cruise two years ago and enjoyed in so much! We knew on our return trip we would schedule one as well. These folks do it right. We chose the "shelling cruise" that went to Cayo Costa. The only one available was the morning, but we would have chosen it anyway. A day long trip... More

On a family vacation to Captiva, I wanted to step off the beach and get out on the water. With about two hours notice, I called Captiva Cruises and quickly reserved five spots on their Sunset Wildlife cruise aboard the Santiva. The Santiva is a 49-passenger catamaran. The cruise left from McCarthy's Marina and ran north on Pine Island Sound... More

2 hours of sailing and a beautiful sunset. What more can you ask for? Maybe a fun crew? Check...George and Carlos provided a fun evening without getting in your face...and Carlos took countless pics for the passengers with the passenger's cameras. Even though the weather was hot, once we left the marina and started sailing at 6:15 p.m., the breeze... More

We were on a large family trip and our entire group of 12 decided to go on the 1.5 hr Dolphin Adventure Cruise. It was perfect for a group with many young children in it and for the adults. They had an open cash bar on the boat with snacks and stuffed animals that you can buy for the children.... More

My husband I wanted to do something really special for our 37th., wedding anniversary. We both love shelling and learning about Marine life. We read about the Marine Naturalist Adventure by Captiva Cruises & decided to try it. We boarded the Catamaran & were warmly welcomed by the Captain (George), first mate Carlos & a Marine Biologist Stephanie! While sailing... More

We took the shelling cruise to Cayo Costa State Park. We saw manatee around a kayak as we were leaving and at the dock when we returned. Dolphin played in our wake as we left and we were able to capture them on video. The island was beautiful but the shelling not as good as at our local beach. That... More

The ride on the boat was pleasantly beautiful. It was supposed to be a dolphin cruise but it turned into a tour of the surroundings of Captiva island it was nicely narrated by a very knowledgeable individual. While there was no dolphins at the beginning, it was pure luck that towards the end we got a great show by the... More

Magnificent sunset, great margaritas, Jimmy Buffett songs, whats not to like! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the views around South Seas. The ship staff were courteous and friendly. Will do it again upon return in May.

My husband, mother-in-law, and I decided to take our first cruise on Captiva Island, and decided on the Sunset Serenade Cruise through Captiva Cruises. We boarded at 6:30 and immediately purchased drinks and found a table on the upper deck. There was already an excellent guitar player on the desk playing beautiful music, so that started the cruise out on... More
