Lunch cruise to cabbage key: lady chadwick

Pleasantly pleased. First time with captiva cruises and captain Eric's narration was informative and funny. Great experience and would definitely come back.

In May 2015, my husband and I took the 10 am cruise from the South Seas Resort Marina to Useppa Island. The crew was excellent; the Captain did a great job keeping the playful dolphins near by and the narration by the second Captain was interesting and enjoyable. We learned about the history, geography, the people and way of life... More

I registered for the morning cruise to Cayo Costa. Nice crew, had plenty of time to walk the island. I'm not into shelling, so if you are, this is a good option. Otherwise, I would skip it.

We took the afternoon shelling cruise to Cayo Costa on Friday May 8th. There were 17 guests on board (boat holds 48) with 1 captain Chris, 1 co captain (? Don't temenber his name) and 1 naturalist- recent marine biologist graduate named Stephanie. The cruise is 30 minutes to the island and the depth of the water is only 5'... More

This small sight seeing cruise boat company has competent, knowledgeable crews and has several destinations such as Cabbage Key and Boca Grande that provide stop overs for lunch and shopping (Boca Grande). Relaxing!

We decided to take a Captiva Cruise to Cabbage Key Island. The cost was $40/person. The boat had 2 levels. The first level was airconditioned with a drink bar and restrooms . The top level was open air with a partial cover over it. There were tables and chairs on both levels to sit at. The top level was very... More

We used Captiva Cruises twice while on our trip. One time for the hour and a half dolphin cruise and the next day for the cruise to Cabbage Key / Useppa. Both cruises were excellent. The captain did a great job at spotting dolphins and slowing down just enough to allow them to tag along in the wake. We saw... More

Went for 1 1/2 hr dolphin cruise which was nice. I appreciated the option of indoor air conditioned cabin during the middle of the cruise when the dolphins weren't out. Snack bar with alcoholic beverages was a nice bonus. All but one staff member was very pleasant

Take your choice, get off at Cabbage Key or Useppa. We chose Useppa and had particularly beautiful day. Enjoyed some "almost famous bloody marys" and nice narration of the islands and history and wildlife. Boat is fairly comfortably equipped, but if you want to sit in the shade board early. I wish we had more time on the island. (... More

We chose Captiva Cruises as the ferry to take us to Cato Costa they were very professional from booking to check in to services rendered. The catamaran was beautifully maintained and the staff was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and the local wildlife. We saw cormorants, nesting osprey with babies, and numerous dolphins. The only drawback was... More
