Brilliant visit to view the talented work of the various artists. Sometimes you can view them at work. The wildlife wooden sculptures were really beautiful. There is opportunity to take photos as well. Unfortunately a powere cut due to a storm prevented us from viewing upstairs so will have to leave thart for another day.

Every first Saturday of the month, historic downtown New Smyrna has an event called "First Saturday" with street vendors and artists along with the regular Saturday famers market. The Hub is a special place in downtown. Its an artist museum/workshop/community learning center that is staffed by extremely welcoming volunteers. You can see wonderful art work, see the artists creating in... More

Three weeks ago my wife signed up for a painting class[ 3 hours]. They called today and said cancelled with less than a days notice. So all our plans around the class must be redone, and there was nothing in the sign up about how many or that it could be cancelled. Next time we will sign up with Bob... More

My wife and I had a date evening and found the Hub on Canal street. It was free and we were greeted by a hostess that explained the building and were the different artist were located. There was wine and snacks for purchase in the back. This is a real treat to wander through the artist studios and some where... More

Visitors and residents alike are fortunate to have this gallery of art in their midst. The Hub houses a collection of multiple artists (all types) who have designated areas to display and sell their art. The art is of very good quality and often priced quite reasonably. In addition to the joy of viewing (and buying) the art, visitors can... More

We asked the volunteer greeters at The Hub on Canal what the hub was. Turns out even they don't know what all this place is. We viewed over 75 artists works in several mediums. Many were very professional. This is like going to an art show, but without the weather hassles. Live music shows are available some nights, there are... More

The Hub has an outstanding collection of art studios under one roof. We enjoyed visiting and talking to local artists in their studios and returned for the Friday evening music. This evening had a nice folk singer followed by the cast from the NSB little theater. This place is a true art gem!
