The Hub has an outstanding collection of art studios under one roof. We enjoyed visiting and talking to local artists in their studios and returned for the Friday evening music. This evening had a nice folk singer followed by the cast from the NSB little theater. This place is a true art gem!

Wherever we travel, we typically cannot resist poking our heads into the local artist co-op just for a look-see, in search of artwork, a novel decor or gift item -- often offered at insanely reasonable prices. The inspiration comes free. The Hub on Canal in NSB is not just another art co-op store with a sales clerk and nobody else... More

This gallery is a kind of co-op with multiple artists exhibiting and demonstrating. We discovered this after buying a painting from a local artist and subsequently visiting her Web site. Visiting The Hub was the primary reason for out trip to New Smyrna Beach, which is about 75 miles from our home. We were pleasantly surprised by the quantity, variety,... More

Large artist co-op. Great quality works. A variety of art and exercise classes are offered. we recently attended a gallery opening for a local plein aire artist, Frank Ferrante. Art and Thai Chi - what more could one want?

This was a wonderful surprise when I walked into this historic building. The HUB houses 70 artist at work and displaying their work. Many items are for sale. I think everyone should make time to see this exciting place.

This place has studio place and gallery space for local artists. Great concept. We always seek out local art and to find so many artists under one roof was great.

First, I am not into art, but was extremely impressed by the hub, as a building, and by all of the many types of art. You are greeted with enthusiasm and made to feel at home. The building, an old refurbished theater, is a museum in its own right. The roof rafters, some of the brickwork, and the wooden floors,... More

We very much enjoyed our visit to The Hub in the Canal Street district of New Smyrna Beach. Th staff were very helpful, and our visit gave us a good introduction to the thriving art and craft community in NSB. Our visit reminded us of the early days of the Art Center South Florida on South Beach's Lincoln Road.

We were told about this new art center by the nice folks at the New Smyrna Beach Visitor Center, just off I-95 on SR 44. We enjoy art casually but do visit interesting locations and this proved to fit that description. Two-story but cozy small building renovated to house many studios of individual local artists. A wide variety of mediums... More
