Kids and adults alike will enjoy it here. Something to learn (in a beautiful setting) for everyone. Experience dolphins, manatees and other aquatic animal life. Knowledgable tour guides.

This tour was great! It wasn't about the houses along the river that the reviews of other tours in the area had. My son is very curious and loves nature so he had plenty of questions and comments. The lady giving the tour made sure she answered every question he had. We saw lots of dolphins, manatees and lots of... More

Not that much there although I know they could use a big chunk of money to expand. They need a real aquatic museum in New Smyrna Beach, other towns have them. They do offer great kayak tours and Eco tours but other than that it's fair. I do not loke their location I want to see it near water not... More

We heard about the MDC through word of mouth. It is a free. They offer eco boat tours, I highly recommend. I took to boat trips and this was the best by far. It is 2 hours and there was so much education and photo opportunities. We saw lots of dolphin and a manatee too.

Lots of interesting things for kids to learn about our ecosystem, plus a nice relaxing dolphin tour. Worth the small price.

MDC has nice exhibits and cool gift shop. I volunteer here as often as I can. They have Eco-cruises daily, which I Highly recommend. MDC is dedicated to educating everyone about our lagoon, wildlife and ecosystem. Lots of ways to volunteer here as well.

Prepare to spend anywhere from 10 minutes to half an hour here. Really geared towards children ages 4-teens. Lots of hand on things to look at. They have live crabs in tanks where you can touch and hold. Wish this place would expand, it would be a huge attraction for this small area.

Our plan was to go to the dolphin discovery boat trip at 2:00 p.m. It was full so we had to go on the 4:15 one. Where you buy tickets and where you board the boat are two different locations so keep that in mind and go a bit early. We sat in the front seats which were a bit... More
