Cool little theater

This is a nice cozy place to see a band or performance. Not very big but a great facility for a small town like New Port Richey.

Movies are $4 per movie. They have tables you can use for your food. Comfortable seats. Great ac and the ticket lines are usually short and fast. I think you can get the movie ticket and a coke for $10.

Local Talent, up-close to the stage...every seat is a great seat. The theater has been renovated, and the interior has the look of a classy old-time theater. It has the small town flavor, yet the shows are class acts. The price of season tickets is very affordable, and keeps the theater going and doing challenging and well-known shows.

We have been to various productions at Richey Suncoast, each one was well done and worth seeing! The productions are seasonal, but if you happen to stumble across the opportunity, just do it. You won't regret it.

The group plays on Wed. afternoons mostly to retired folk who are available at that time. We've been to several of their concerts this season. Yesterday was the final performance until next year. There were 8 concerts this season but there will only be four next year, Jan.-April. It's a relaxed, casual performance and the audience often joins in for... More

I saw the 42nd Street Orchestra play in this sweet little music hall, built in the 1920s as a silent film theatre. It is nicely refurbished, comfortable and cozy. The orchestra was great and the audience very receptive. There is something special about the Richey Suncoast Theatre and you have to experience it for yourself. The seats are comfy and... More

I just went to the Richey Suncoast Theater for the first time tonight. What a find! The theatre is a gem. It's an old fashioned little broadway like theatre. It's so charming and very well kept. I saw Whose Wifes Are They Anyway? I laughed from start to finish. I had such a good time. The prices of tickets are... More

Attended a Veterans' Day Performance by the 42nd St Big Band group and a singer named Lotar. Delightful, most enjoyable, fun program with a special salute to all Veterans . Really appreciate the Patriotism as all performances begin with The Star Spangled Banner followed by the theme songs for all branches of the military with the request that each veteran... More

Nicely refurbished old-time theater of the 1930's that used to be 'THE PLACE' to go to be seen in its heyday when many Broadway & Hollywood stars used to come to this area of FL on holiday. Have seen local performers in plays & concerts here. Most enjoyable entertainment!
