This is my favorite beach around. It is quiet in the off season with tons of wild life to watch. I never go without seeing a heron or two and the egrets watch from the sand. Dolphins frequently swim by and the scenery is beautiful. Wonderful beach to walk as well.

I love this beach. It is clean and expansive. I always find a good spot there even during season. They have good parking and facilities at the first lot.

I had seen this beach on the Top 10 in the US List, so since I was visiting the area in June, I visited with a friend and we're very happy we did! What a beautiful beach! When you drive in on well manicured brick road, you think you're driving into a secluded high end community--not a beach! The homes... More

Was in Florida on June 27th until July 6th - We went to Barefood beach, in Naples. You drive into a community of houses with speed bumps and drive only 20 miles an hour. As you continue to the end of the path you come up to a little house. We paid the $8.00 in parking to the man in... More

Lovely beach with great waves. Don't forget to pack a lunch though as there are no places close to purchase anything.

Beautiful, quiet beach. Well kept, clean, and family oriented. No alcohol, dogs, no party atmosphere. Just nature as intended with people of all ages.

We were advised that this was rated as #2 best beach in Florida, have to say we thought naples beach was far nicer, bigger and clearer sea and nicer sand. On the plus side the actual driveway down to the beach area is very impressive with all the huge condos worth big millions and the turtles that you may encounter... More

You have to pay 8 dollars to park but that helps with the crowding which I feel is worth it. The ranger at the entrance was very friendly. Short walk to beach. We saw tons of tortoises. Nice bathrooms/showers and concessions available. Beach was clean white sand and not crowded, lined with sea turtle nests. Water was semi transparent. Lots... More

Great beach with lots of families around. There was plenty of parking along the reserve road entrance. Saw a manatee swim near the beach which was pretty amazing.
