Barefoot beach is a remote area that is its own little peninsula. If you enjoy early morning solitude then this beach is for you. Tortoise are slowly wandering about. Ocean life is abundant with sand dollars, snook, and porpoise. very pleasant and very quiet.

Once I found this beach, I realized, the locals can share their paradise too. It's especially nice in off season when parking spaces r open, bath houses r empty and the beach belongs to You! Rt off the beach, you can wade and fish at the same time or just fall asleep under your quiet umbrella and dream of what's... More

We visited Barefoot Beach on a weekday in July. It was a quiet, laid back beach. The day we visited the Sea Stars were all in the water. My boys and I were amazed at how awesome it was to see them in their natural habitat. After speaking to a Ranger about the sea stars, she mentioned that you could... More

We went to Barefoot Beach the day after we visited Delnor-Wiggins State Park. There wasn't as much shade available at Barefoot Beach but it was still clean, tidy and very hot. The Dolphin also made another appearance (no jumps this time though) and we enjoyed our day. There's not much in it but we did think Delnor-Wiggins was a nicer... More

This is my favorite beach around. It is quiet in the off season with tons of wild life to watch. I never go without seeing a heron or two and the egrets watch from the sand. Dolphins frequently swim by and the scenery is beautiful. Wonderful beach to walk as well.

I love this beach. It is clean and expansive. I always find a good spot there even during season. They have good parking and facilities at the first lot.

I had seen this beach on the Top 10 in the US List, so since I was visiting the area in June, I visited with a friend and we're very happy we did! What a beautiful beach! When you drive in on well manicured brick road, you think you're driving into a secluded high end community--not a beach! The homes... More

Was in Florida on June 27th until July 6th - We went to Barefood beach, in Naples. You drive into a community of houses with speed bumps and drive only 20 miles an hour. As you continue to the end of the path you come up to a little house. We paid the $8.00 in parking to the man in... More

Lovely beach with great waves. Don't forget to pack a lunch though as there are no places close to purchase anything.
