I enjoy playing Raptor Bay. It's an Audubon Sanctuary with no houses bordering the course. Interestingly there are no sand traps, only hardpan waste areas. It also is not as long as most courses seem to need to be, about 6500 from the back tees. There is even an eagles' nest on the back nine.

Played Raptor yesterday and was disappointed in the course While the off season rate was great the greens were much too slow There are no sand bunkers around the greens to stop your ball from failing off the severe slopes of the greens While the overall slope rating is low there is no way to hold your ball on the... The course has some challenges, like elevated greens, hazards and pace of play at times. It also public play which is helpful in the area. The staff was helpful facilities and carts well maintained. Clubhouse is nice and the food is very good for the 19th. Overall for the area, a very good Public course offering.

Visiting from Wisconsin to enjoy the Florida weather, this course was close to our hotel. Nice facility with helpful staff. We were late for our tee time because of a rain storm so they let us tee off on the "back" nine. Challenging course we enjoyed a lot.

Usually slow greens and I mean really slow greens is about the worst thing you could say about a course priced in the $125 range but these greens had so much winter kill you wonder how they can look you in the eye when they take your money. Just a really bad experience in Florida. Worst course for the money... More

never again will I play this course. The greens were in terrible shape, grass was too long, and some had disease, awful. The clubhouse is beautiful, the staff was helpful, but the course was a disappointment. $100 to play a $40 golf course.

This course is well designed and has a variety of hole styles and formats which makes it fun to play. When I played the course was in decent shape except the greens were far too slow for the type of course Raptor Bay strives to be. Compared to some of the other courses in the area the greens were significantly... More

I have visited and played Raptor Bay many times over the past 10 years. The course is always in great shape and the staff is very professional and friendly. Although economic conditions are improving in Florida, things are not back to normal. Now is a particularly good time to play at Raptor Bay as prices are good and the crowds... More

The golf course was located in an absolutely beautiful location surrounded by great natural setting, however the design of the course left a lot to desire. Fairways and green complexes were too severly sloped making even slight misses too penal. The greens were large and undulating, but the grass was cut too high making them extremely slow. Service and location... More

The course is beautifully maintained. All greens are elevated and therefore difficult to roll your ball onto them. There is a bald eagle nest on the 12th fairway and they are usually around to watch your game.
