Golisano is a fabulous hands on museum for children. My Grandson is 4 and just loves it. We spent 5 hours there and he still did not want to leave.

My son is 1.5 and he loved running and exploring. He went through the place fairly quickly but it's his age. I'd love to go back when he is a tad older. He will probably have even more fun. The place is spotless. Plenty of places to sit and watch. Fun!

My grandsons - especially the four year old and seven year old - love this place. They visit us in Florida several times each year and the Children's museum was the number one place to revisit for the two of them. The grocery store and play restaurant are big favorites. My almost ten year old grandson enjoyed the room they... More

While on vacation we visited the museum on a rainy day and my 2.5 year old daughter had a blast exploring and interacting with the exhibits. There were a ton of activities for my daughter (and me as well :)). I highly recommend checking it out if you are in the area and looking for something to do.

The title pretty much explains my thoughts on the Museum. This was an expensive, so-so afternoon to us. A LOT of generous sponsors have built a beautiful facility. Our young kid's attention spans weren't exactly overwhelmed by the activities. Very much geared toward very young kids (say, under 6). Our family's favorites were the paper rocket building, and the grocery... More

Our 10 year old twin nieces were visiting, so we planned a trip to the children's museum. I had read the not so flattering reviews posted earlier this week, so I was not sure what to expect. I did not find any of the negative items mentioned, and I wonder what others had been expecting. I did find the museum... More

My little granddaughter always wants to go to the museum however the last time we went even she at 4 yrs of age was quite bored there. The problem is that they don't change it up a little at least on a monthly basis, it is always the same thing over and over again! I also think that it is... More

We took our five year old son here recently. He was about the perfect age for most of the exhibits. There is an excellent mixture of educational exhibits about local flora and fauna and exhibits that are just plain fun. There is a library filled with books and puzzles for quiet time. There are also good activities for the more... More

This was our 4th visit to the museum. The previous 3 visits were wonderful. Well run, great staff, all areas fully supplied. We would stay for 8 hours plus. The last 2 visits, the outdoor water play area had been opened and was wonderful. Our trip today (has been about one year since our last visit ) was terribly disappointing.... More

We visited this museum from Tampa and wish we lived closer. We were planning to stay just a couple hours, but my 3-year-old and 9-year-old did not want to leave. The exhibits are unique and not what you find in the average children's museum. My kids have been asking to go back.
