I'm not a big shopper during vacay, but I never miss the opportunity to stroll 5th Ave and browse a bit. Lots of cool Art/Deco shops.

My Local's Opinion: Cute but over-rated, over-priced and stuffy stores & restaurants. Nice to see and/or do when you have guests in town but no interest in schmoozing with anyone who goes there regularly.

From what we saw mostly privately owned shops and some were going out of business. We were not very impressed with the shops, although it is a nice walk down the street. Prices are a little expensive, so overall it was an average experience.

Love it. Nice stores and restaurants. And you can walk to the end of it and see the most stunning ocean view.

Fifth avenue is a slice of Europe in downtown Naples. Beautiful palm trees line the outside cafes and high end boutiques. It's very well done and elegant.

Most of the restaurants and retail stores seemed overpriced to my friends and I. There were a lot of Italian restaurants, one more pricey than the other. The ice cream, gelato, and yogurt stores were also priced way more than we were used to.

This area of Naples is a big tourist attraction because it has good restaurants, shopping, art galleries, homemade ice cream and hotels. during the winter season they block off the whole street and feature art shows.

We come to 5th Avenue every year when we travel to Naples. I love this area! Many great stores, some very expensive, others more reasonably priced. There's also many nice, upscale restaurants where you have the choice to dine inside, or outside. We like to get a table outside and enjoy the wonderful evening summer breeze and beautiful sights. No trip to Naples is complete without a visit to Fifth Avenue. The shops, restaurants and bars are what makes Naples so unique. This is the perfect way to spend an afternoon or evening and is really the heart and soul of Old Naples.
