Owner description: Much more than a walk-thru zoo, this historic tropical garden and nationally accredited zoo features a full day of wildlife experiences to delight guests with the natural world to inspire the conservation of our planet's remaining wild areas and their wondrous inhabitants. Discover the wonders of South America featuring a Giant anteater, Cotton-top tamarins, and more. Get wildly close to the Malayan tigers at viewing windows. Hand-feed the herd of giraffe plus enjoy your favorite animals like lions, monkeys, and bears. Naples Zoo is one of only four zoos in the nation to feature the fierce YouTube-favorites: African honey badgers. Plus discover rarely seen species including Malagasy fosas and 2 of less than 20 striped hyenas in the nation. Ask those questions you've always wondered about at the Meet the Keeper Series. Be fascinated by rare creatures during premier wildlife shows. Cruise through islands of monkeys, lemurs, and apes. Watch our professional staff hand-feed American alligators while dispelling popular myths. Snap great photos and learn the facts behind the fiction at a venomous snake talk. It's wild fun from apes to zebras. Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens is a nonprofit organization cooperating in conservation programs both in and outside the wild for endangered species. The zoo is nationally accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, the organization that sets the highest standards for wildlife care, education, and conservation. The garden also holds accreditation by The Morton Register of Arboreta and is a member of the American Public Gardens Association.

What a lovely zoo. Although it costs $15, it is worth it; trained alligators and you can hand feed the giraffes. Lovely gardens and exotic birds.

It's obviously not a giant zoo like San Diego or The National Zoo but it has a lot going for it. I would have given it higher marks except most of the animals were still sleeping or inside as it was cold when we visited. Loved the monkey islands and feeding the Giraffes. Will definitely go again next time we... More

Our trip to the zoo was a very relaxing and fun. This zoo is very small and only takes about an hour to see all the animals but doesn't have all the crazy foot traffic and crowds. The small gift shop is nice and we liked the fact you can bring your own food and eat in a covered picnic... More

We visited back in October 2014 and really had a great day especially the boat trip to monkey island!! The problem was afterwards when we realised both my wife and myself had been bitten many times (at least 15-20 bites each!!!!!) on our legs so please take precautions and you should have a great day

I liked the way you enter then they start with the feeding and interaction with the animals as you walk around the circle of the Zoo. The Giraffes were the best. Feeding them was so interesting. Th Safari show was also very good. All the information about the animals was great. Would definitely go back.

A shocking storm hit as we visited so we had to cut our day short but the staff there are brilliant and took time to explain about different animals and their habits.

It was a lovely afternoon spent wandering the zoo. I recommend everyone pop in and visit. There are too many animals to name. My favorite part: feeding the giraffes. AMAZING!!!

This is a pleasant very small zoo set in delightful botanical gardens in central Naples. It has a few interesting exhibits and was very well maintained. The staff were knowledgeable, informative and clearly loved their jobs. For a most pleasant few hours on a sunny afternoon this is a perfect place to go.

Don't go expecting a National Zoo. This is quaint smaller zoo. Very well laid out and has a nice variety of animals. They are expanding so future visits would be even better.

My husband and I spent about four hours here, and that was really pushing the clock. You could easily do it in two or less. I love animals and photography, so of course it took us longer. Adult admission was $20. This is a non-profit zoo, and they rely on their admissions and sales to support them. They have several... More
