Owner description: Much more than a walk-thru zoo, this historic tropical garden and nationally accredited zoo features a full day of wildlife experiences to delight guests with the natural world to inspire the conservation of our planet's remaining wild areas and their wondrous inhabitants. New for 2014: Discover the wonders of South America featuring a Giant anteater, Patagonian cavies, Cotton-top tamarins, and more. Get wildly close to the cheetahs at viewing windows. Hand-feed the herd of giraffe plus enjoy your favorite animals like lions, tigers, and bears. Naples Zoo is one of only four zoos in the nation to feature YouTube-favorites: African honey badgers. Plus discover rarely seen species including Malagasy fosas and 2 of less than 20 striped hyenas in the nation. Ask those questions you've always wondered about at the Meet the Keeper Series. Be fascinated by rare creatures during premier wildlife shows. Cruise through islands of monkeys, lemurs, and apes. Watch our professional staff hand-feed American alligators while dispelling popular myths. Snap great photos and learn the facts behind the fiction at a venomous snake talk. It's wild fun from apes to zebras. Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens is a nonprofit organization cooperating in conservation programs both in and outside the wild for endangered species. The zoo is nationally accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, the organization that sets the highest standards for wildlife care, education, and conservation. The garden also holds accreditation by The Morton Register of Arboreta and is a member of the American Public Gardens Association.

The Naples Zoo is small. There is a short boat tour that takes you around a few small islands that contain two monkeys each or a couple of lemurs. The boat operators talk about the animals and their behaviours. When walking the zoo you have to do the whole trail, there are no short cuts back to the starting point.... More

We spent a couple of hours here and thoroughly enjoyed the place. The zoo has a good variety of animals and the fact that it is set in a former botanical garden makes it a very inviting place. My wife fed the giraffes and loved the tigers. There's a good show put on just before lunch featuring a skunk, an... More

Landscaping is beautiful. Animals look well taken care of. It was a very hot day and lines were too long for the boat ride. Was surprised that it was so small, in comparison to other zoos. We had a good time.

The Naples zoo was overall a good experience for my family and I. Tip: ordering tickets online saves you $3 on admission for adults. (Two adults cost $33.90!) Our toddler was free- whew! Pros:1. the monkey island boat ride. It's free, and interesting. All of the zoos monkeys live on several islands on man-made Lake Victoria. The boat tour guide... More

Great outdoor zoo in a natural setting. Monkeys and apes live un-caged on islands which you visit by boat. Feed the giraffes, Join the keeper feeding a giant ant-eater from her hand. Bears, leopards, tigers, cheetahs and plenty more. Very enjoyable walk in the jungle.

This is a small zoo with some unusual animals. Animals are very visible and look healthy. Thought the admission price was a little high for what they have. Enjoyed the shows. Zoo was clean.

Let me first say, if you are in Naples, you SHOULD go. The Zoo is lovely and families, with and without kids will enjoy it. If you come from a big city, don’t expect a big city zoo. Expect a small town zoo. That’s what it is. I live in Naples so bought an annual pass through Groupon and love... More
