It is difficult to give a proper rating since I missed a great deal partly of my own doing and a great part of the zoos doing. My group arrived at 3pm. Unaware of the time. We were told that the zoo closed at 5pm. Therefore, we thought that we had 2 hours to visit. We saw the alligators fed... more

We went here with a meneragerie of ages, including 3 adults, 2 teenagers, and 3 younger kids and all of of us were pleasantly surprised by the zoo. What we loved about it: While they had fewer exhibits than at other larger zoos we've been at, the ones they had were well-done and respected the animals. They were large and... more

The Naples Zoo was recomended to us by a lot of people, but after having been there, I don't know why. Maybe the recomendations came because there are few other atractions in the Naples area but they defenetly weren't based on the quality and even less on the quantity of the zoo. It is VERY small, if you just wander... more

I'm from Chicago and we have two fabulous HUGE zoo's here. I had no idea what to expect in Naples, but figured it would be a nice way to spend the day with my four year old while on vacation. I knew it would be pricey but found a coupon online so we only had to pay for two adults.... more

We saw animals that we had never seen before and also heard the lion roar and roar and roar. He was magnificent, as were all the big cats. The staff was very friendly and educational. We had a great time. It's a small zoo, but the animals are clearly well cared for and active (not lethargic and depressed), which was... more

You may be thinking that a zoo is a zoo, right? Penned up animals in cages, with the occasional petting area for young children and animal lovers alike. However, I classify this side trip as the worst zoo I have ever visited in my entire life. Buyer BEWARE. After spending $40 for two adults, I thought wow, for that price... more

I was tentative about going to the Naples Zoo (12/28/08)because we are members of the Toledo Zoo and go there several time a year, but this is a totally different experience. I enjoyed the tropical foliage throughout the zoo. The kids loved the alligator feeding show. We went to a reptile show in the theater, the host likes to interact... more

My family went to the Naples Zoo today and we were very disappointed. Our 3 year old son was looking forward to seeing a lot of his favorite animals and was very disappointed. There were no elephants, giraffes, or bears. Our local zoo has a lot more animals and is 1/4 of the price. I didn't mind the high price... more

i am sceptical when it comes to smaller zoos sometimes they can be a rip off and other times they can be ok-in this case it is the later-actually this zoo really exceeded my expectation- i went here with my 8 year old daughter-price was ok i think it was about $38 to get us both in-we took the monkey... more

Small but great zoo! Great Florida plants! I grew up in South Florida, but never went here because my folks thought it was too touristy when it was Caribbean Gardens (a private attraction). I don't know if it was always this good and I missed out as a kid, or if it has been improved since the city of Naples... more
