It's a bit smaller than an actual zoo. But the charm and closeness of the animals is something you can't get at other zoos. The boat ride to monkey island is always my favorite. The people that work there are so friendly and really knowledgeable.

We have visited many times and find the Naples Zoos one of the best. The monkeys are very active most mornings. The shows during the day are well done and entertaining. Fun for all ages - adults and children.

Animals were mostly listless, of course it was hot out. Overall the experience is average/mediocre. I would say overall this facility seems overrated, however many cities this size do not have a zoo so I suppose this comment begs the question, overrated relative to what. I found the experience here somewhat boring and the facility overall seemed old.

You won't need all day to do this zoo, as it is not that big. A half day will do nicely. It's not too small either though. There are quite a few good shows, giraffes, lions, panthers, a really cool monkey island and plenty of other things to do. It is very inexpensive, has plenty of parking and is laid... More

Small but full of surprises, boat ride to see the monkeys, feed the giraffes or just wander around checking out all the great animals.

Not the largest Zoo but very entertaining for the young and old. Very reasonable price and close to everything in Naples

Best bargain in Naples. Plan to spend the day, do all the "keeper talks", take the boat ride to see the primates. Learn about giraffe and alligators, snakes and anteaters. Have fun at the Safari Canyon shows. There's even food for lunch. A wonderful experience for young and old

First of all, November through April is the only time to go. Otherwise, it's too hot too enjoy anything because the animals will be hiding in the shade, as apparently, they are smarter than us. In all my years of raising kids and now grandkids, I have never really understood zoos. It's hot, you have to walk a lot, you... More

Wow, this zoo will put a smile on anyone's face. If you want to see parrots, lions, tigers, turtles, impalas, deer, black bears, and over 10 giraffes that one can feed to a camel you can ride, and alligators to numerous to count, this is the zoo for you. What you do not want to miss are the feeding times... More

Nice small zoo, very lush tropical plants, well maintained. Good program for children, not cheap, but you will enjoy the experience. Half day outing, very close to downtown, so no long drives involved.
