Description: Much more than a walk-thru zoo, this historic tropical garden and...
Much more than a walk-thru zoo, this historic tropical garden and nationally accredited zoo features a full day of wildlife experiences to delight guests with the natural world to inspire the conservation of our planet's remaining wild areas and their wondrous inhabitants. Discover the wonders of South America featuring a Giant anteater, Cotton-top tamarins, and more. Get wildly close to the Malayan tigers at viewing windows. Hand-feed the herd of giraffe plus enjoy your favorite animals like lions, monkeys, and bears. Naples Zoo is one of only four zoos in the nation to feature the fierce YouTube-favorites: African honey badgers. Plus discover rarely seen species including Malagasy fosas and 2 of less than 20 striped hyenas in the nation. Ask those questions you've always wondered about at the Meet the Keeper Series. Be fascinated by rare creatures during premier wildlife shows. Cruise through islands of monkeys, lemurs, and apes. Watch our professional staff hand-feed American alligators while dispelling popular myths. Snap great photos and learn the facts behind the fiction at a venomous snake talk. It's wild fun from apes to zebras. Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens is a nonprofit organization cooperating in conservation programs both in and outside the wild for endangered species. The zoo is nationally accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, the organization that sets the highest standards for wildlife care, education, and conservation. The garden also holds accreditation by The Morton Register of Arboreta and is a member of the American Public Gardens Association.

After 31 years of visiting Naples, we decided to visit the zoo. This a small but very well done zoo for those of all ages. Highlights for us retirees, was how close you could get to the big cat cages, where the zookeeper made it clear that these were wild animals and never to be trusted. We also enjoyed the... More

This was an average zoo, pricey for the size. They do have a boat ride included in the price, and timed shows for kids, also their is an area to sit and eat and purchase drinks and snacks.

I was watching my 3 grandsons, and since it was a very nice day we took off for the zoo, a first for the boys and another visit to add to the many I had already had. We arrived in early afternoon and started our walk thru the zoo. We were able to take the boat ride on Lake Victoria... More

We found this very disappointing - not a very beautiful or interesting zoo to visit and we won't return.

Visiting from New Jersey & staying in Cape Coral we decided to take a ride to Naples. We stopped at the zoo with our 2 young adult children. What we saw was nice & interesting but wish there had been more to see. Living so close to the Philadelphia Zoo may have had something to do with that since the... More

Very nice play. They have giraffes that will eat out of your hand. They have an anteater, a tiger, a gigantic lion, lots of monkeys. Great place to walk around. Kid friendly too.

Such a nice, clean zoo. So many different animals, plus they have many different great shows with various animals daily.

we enjoyed our visit to the zoo. Everyone was very friendly and there is a lot to see. They provide several areas of shade which was very much appreciated on the day we went. The exhibits and shows were good and the employees very knowledgeable.

It was hot when we went but there is tons of shade. Bring plenty of water. I live in D.C. and I liked this zoo over the D.C. zoo any day. You don't have to walk long distances to see the animals and it seems more like a personal feel when visiting each site. There are lions, bears, zebras, giraffes,... More

Great variety of animals... very clean and well-maintained zoo. The shows are interesting and kids love them. The boat ride around the monkey islands is fun!
