Owner description: Much more than a walk-thru zoo, this historic tropical garden and nationally accredited zoo features a full day of wildlife experiences to delight guests with the natural world to inspire the conservation of our planet's remaining wild areas and their wondrous inhabitants. New for 2014: Discover the wonders of South America featuring a Giant anteater, Patagonian cavies, Cotton-top tamarins, and more. Get wildly close to the cheetahs at viewing windows. Hand-feed the herd of giraffe plus enjoy your favorite animals like lions, tigers, and bears. Naples Zoo is one of only four zoos in the nation to feature YouTube-favorites: African honey badgers. Plus discover rarely seen species including Malagasy fosas and 2 of less than 20 striped hyenas in the nation. Ask those questions you've always wondered about at the Meet the Keeper Series. Be fascinated by rare creatures during premier wildlife shows. Cruise through islands of monkeys, lemurs, and apes. Watch our professional staff hand-feed American alligators while dispelling popular myths. Snap great photos and learn the facts behind the fiction at a venomous snake talk. It's wild fun from apes to zebras. Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens is a nonprofit organization cooperating in conservation programs both in and outside the wild for endangered species. The zoo is nationally accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, the organization that sets the highest standards for wildlife care, education, and conservation. The garden also holds accreditation by The Morton Register of Arboreta and is a member of the American Public Gardens Association.

Very clean zoo. Relatively small zoo but nicely done with much flora is you like that. I've visited bigger better zoos but this zoo is a nice place to visit

While we live in a city that has a zoo larger than Naples, the Naples Zoo is one of our favorite zoos. The lush landscaping provides for numerous photo opportunities and the additional ways to interact with the animals (ride a camel, feed giraffe lettuce - $5.00 each, not included in admission) enhance the experience. The free boat trip around... More

My husband and I spent an early afternoon at the Naples Zoo and loved it! The zoo is clean and well maintained. I love plants and felt like we were in a botanical garden as well with all of the plant varieties they had labeled throughout the park. Riding the boat to the monkey exhibits was adorable and the guides... More

On the smaller side, but worth the trip. Easily navigated, variety of animals, and the boat trip thru monkey island is unique and fun! We bought online and save $3pp. All I had to do was give the clerk the reservation number.

Love this zoo. It's not San Diego. It's compact, but animals are well cared for. The show is interesting. The boat ride is great, if you arrive early the Howler monkeys can be heard. Good place for kids, plenty of rest areas and water. A little expensive but I go at least once a year with a different "child" and... More

I am a volunteer at the Naples zoon, so I am a little biased. The Naples zoo is a great smaller zoo. The zoo is a little expensive at $19.95 per adults, but there are coupons in many flyers and newspapers.

We are so happy we finally visited the zoo this trip to Naples and plan to go again next time we visit. The zoo is large but it is clean, nicely landscaped and wonderful programs going on all day. I really liked the boat ride around the monkey islands and the different programs were very interesting.
