I was in Naples in 2002 and the zoo was pretty sad. I now live in Naples and it has been transformed into a great place for the size of the city. Well worth a visit.

The Naples Zoo is not enormous but there's still plenty to do. If you were to do one thing here, go to the safari canyon shows. There is one show time during the summer and a few shows during the rest of the year, but they are not identical and have different animals at each one. So you technically see... More

There is a lake in the center of the park so they offer educational boat rides and one can see the animals who are on the islands tour stresses conservation which is great. However I did speak to staff regarding the leopards there does not appear to be sufficient activities for them one was pacing

We love this little zoo and have been visiting since it was Jungle Larry's. Some of the gardens are still present and were a nice chance to take a walk through the shade and see one of the original Toucan signs. Time your day around the "keeper" and "handler" talks!!! This gives the kids a chance to learn a lot... More

Had a good time checking out this zoo with family. There were different shows. It was pleasantly landscaped. The animals were out and about until the sun came out then they were seeking shelter. Definitely go on a cloudy day to see more. It was nice for a smaller zoo than walking all around the Miami zoo.

We were at the zoo today and it was very nice. The zoo had all kinds of different animals from monkeys to skunks. The pontoon ride was fun and took you to all the islands with different monkey species. We watched the main show and it was interesting. We paid the 5 bucks to feed the giraffes which was the... It's certainly not the Bronx Zoo but this is much more than your typical roadside tourist trap. The collection of animals is very impressive, with additions and improvements to the animal habitats taking place on a seemingly yearly basis. The grounds are well-kept and alternate between garden-like settings and unmolested tropical jungles. The zoo is the perfect size in which... More

There is a nice collection of animals. The large cats (lions, tigers, cheetahs, etc.) are impressive. The staff puts on several shows an day and they are very informative. The monkeys are are kept on separate island in the lake. A pontoon boat takes you around on a nice tour to see the monkeys. There is a nice selection of... More

A fun zoo with many unique animals you don’t see at a regular zoo. The exhibitions and shows are great. A few recommendations are the island cruise (included with your admission) and feeding the giraffes. I would also recommend going earlier in the day. Once it gets hot, the animals seek shade in the back of their exhibits making it... More
