The 2.5 hour manatee viewing eco tour is the only local eco tour that starts in the heart of the Everglades, and takes only minutes to get to the 10,000 Islands and the Gulf of Mexico. The tour is located at the home of South Florida's largest herd of manatees. Viewing the eco system of the Everglades in the comfort of a covered boat is a true Everglades experience. You are likely to see manatees, alligators, dolphins, and turtles, as well as many species of rare and endangered tropical birds. Some of the tropical birds species are the Ibis, Egret, Great Blue Heron, Osprey, Pelican, and the American Bald Eagle. The tour is fully narrated by knowledgeable local Captains and their boats are stable, comfortable and USCG approved. You'll learn interesting facts on the manatee, alligator, dolphin, and tropical bird species, along with information on the Everglades.

We were treated wonderfully by this company. Sadly, the weather meant that we had to return to dock and our trip was cancelled. We were leaving so could not reschedule although Gary offered us alternatives. We were given a complete no quibble refund. Very fair and hassle free. The guide who began our tour was great - courteous and knowledgable... More

This tour/fishing trip was amazing. Not only did we see alligators, sharks, and manatees but we caught a ton of fish. Our best catches were two healthy sized black nose sharks, which the captain cleaned for us and we ate that night(delicious). To top it all of we almost caught a huge tarpon until a gator stole it right of... More

My wife our our two teenagers took a 6-hour tour with Captain Jim and his wife. Wonderful people - both knowledgeable about the area, very personable and likeable, and have a great knack for interacting with kids. The tour lived up to its billing and we had a great day, seeing manatees, alligators, sea turtles, and even catching a variety... More

Despite stories that sighting manatees in the wild was difficult, we had a very comfortable and successful trip with Captain Mike. The departure form Port of the Islands was early, since we arrived early, and that gave the best chance of sightings before it got too hot. The boat was comfortable, cold water was available throughout, and Mike was knowledgeable... More

From the first inquiry phone call with Gary to the conclusion of the 3 hour shelling trip with Captain Mike, my family's experience was nothing less than the absolute best. Gary and Captain Mike were polite, helpful, knowledgeable, kind with my children, and all in all lovely to be around. We had a glorious morning tour (departed at 9:30 am... More

We did the Fishing trip with Jim and his wife 2nd July. It was a great trip from start to the end. The children caught a lot of fishes - both for food and baite. We had many small fishes (all kind of species), and one big Cobia of 50 inches, and a few nice Goliath Groupers. A really good... More

We went on the 2.5 hr eco tour with Mike on Thursday and has a amazing time. Despite the weather, we stayed cool on the fast moving boat, but wouldn't have noticed with the amazing sights Mike showed us. A long time south Florida resident, Mike was an encyclopedia on the amazing ecosystem of the everglades and the thousand islands,... More

Took the 10 000 Island tour with Captain Mike. We particularly wanted to see the Manatees and mike soon found us some - including one that surfaced right in front of the boat. After that we cruised out into the Gulf and around various Islands looking at the wildlife. Mike knew a lot about the local flora and fauna and... More

Had a great trip out to the gulf. Went shelling on a deserted island. Saw 13 manatee on the way out. Also saw dolphin and all sorts of wildlife. Captain was a wealth of information, and was always respectful of the wildlife.
