Every Tour Is An Adventure! Let the experts at CraigCat Tours guide you on a fun filled tour across Lake Dora and through a 2000 year old cypress tree lined waterway. The Dora Canal has been called -"The Most Beautiful Mile In The World". Scenes from the movie "African Queen" with Humphrey Bogart were filmed in the Dora Canal! Our Tour is fully narrated and guided. We start at Gilbert Park just two blocks from downtown Mt. Dora, see the sights of the Mt. Dora shoreline and then cruise at high speed across Lake Dora to the Dora Canal. We exclusively use CraigCat powerboats. CraigCats are safe, stable, fun and unsinkable.

I understand there are new owners since 2014. I have also been told the new owners are wonderful. I will go on the tour the next time I am in Mount Dora. We go in Dec., and plan to go next time. Those who also had a not so enjoyable experience if you met the previous owner. Try it again... More

Walked down to the docks and just missed the last tour. We spoke to David on the phone and not only did he meet us at the docks with an additional boat for our party, but he allowed us to do our own tour. It was wonderful! Highly recommended!!

This was a fun, lazy way to spend the afternoon. You won't see a lot of lakes, just one and the beautiful connector to lake Eustis. Mac is a fun guide. Not really easy to hear him on the walkie talkie, but he's friendly and intent on you having a great time. It's just so nice to be out on... More

My husband and I have taken this fun water tour twice now and have enjoyed it immensely! These cool little water craft are so fun to rip around on over the chain of lakes in the Mt. Dora area. The scenery is so beautiful. Part of the tour is through the canals that connect the lakes where wild fowl nest.... More

I did some research about things to do in Mt. Dora and came across this tour. I liked what I saw and there were some great reviews, so I booked it for my husband's 50th. birthday surprise and I am happy that I did. Dave (the owner) met us at the dock. The boats were all set to go, complete... More

My wife and I, along with another couple went on the CraigCat Tour in May. David (the owner) was fantastic. There were some others in our tour who (and I am going to be politically correct here), were "high maintenance". David handled them with tact and efficiency. As for the tour itself, cruising Lake Dora was a blast. Then the... More

This is a "must do" in Mt. Dora! Dave took us on a great adventure. These little boats are so cool! He has a cooler with drinks, a place to stash personal items (my decent size purse fit) and they are very easy to operate. We started off slowly in the wake area and took off across Mt. Dora! An... Awesome!!!! Booked it the night before we went and it seems we got the last two spots. Best idea we had all holiday!!!!! Best money we spent!! What fun we had at full pelt across the lake. The boats are safe, don't flip and unsinkable. I have no experience with boats and the controls are easy to pick up and... More

Easy sign up by email for two couples. Met David at the public dock. Boats were ready to go. He had us read a Quick run down on boating rules and grabbed life jackets.then we hopped on little Cat boats with 25-30 go outboards. Simple steering and super stable. Complete with sun canopy and cold waters in a cooler, and... More
