Fresh Produce at Reasonable Cost

Country place not far from Mount Dora, Florida. Lots of local vegetables, honey, souvenirs and knick knacks. Off the beaten path.

My family went here for the first time last year and we had a blast! The corn-maze was so much fun. With all the activities you could spend half a day here easily. Beware though... DO NOT go after a good rain unless you don't like the shoes you are going to wear.

Not sure how they do it, but their corn is the best I've ever tasted. Sure glad there are 2 growing seasons here in Florida! Stop by there farm stand on 441 or visit the farm for all kinds of veggies, their café, or in the fall wander thru the corn maze.

Whenever corn is in season we make it a point to buy corn at the country market. They have the best sweet corn - Zellwood Sweet Corn

soup with the same pair of gloves on. I watched. i did not see them change gloves or wash hands..the server who handled the money did put on gloves to fix my sandwich. Food was great but now I am a little hinky about handwashing.

We drove out to Long and Scott Farms for their Annual Zellwood Corn Jamboree... we were not expecting much, just something to do for the day with the kids. We definitely got more than we bargained for... with the admission to the corn festival, each person got two ears of corn... plus, the kids got the play on the "rides"... More

Huge corn maze in the fall with lots of activities for children. The produce is very good and the little shop is cute.

We went there to pick strawberry. It was a nice activity. People over there were friendly. You must pass by its cafe. It is just great.

We have visited the corn maze several times over the years. It is very well done. We have gone with friends, as well as our granddaughters. The entire site is well organized and there is plenty to do in addition to the maze. Tickets can be purchased online to avoid the lines. The price is reasonable and it's a great... More

Last November, we attended a Youth "Lock-In" hosted by the Presbyterian Youth Council (PYC), at Lake Square Presbyterian Church. After a night of activities, we headed out to Long & Scott Farms, to "glean" corn, to help out the Society of St. Andrews... However, it was too late for corn, so our "Cornanza" turned in to "Cukapalooza" as we spent... More
