Beautiful and peaceful setting. We got engaged here. The picnic areas are nice, and the lakefront setting is unsurpassed!

My husband happened upon Trimble Park while bicycling, and we subsequently took the brief car ride from Mt Dora's downtown to visit the park again. Absolutely a real "Old Florida" nature experience: Large Live Oaks, Spanish moss, lush vegetation, lovely walking paths. Right on the water with boat dock, children's playground, picnic and camping sites. Extremely relaxing and enjoyable --... More

My friend and I walked on a path through lush foliage alongside a lake in Trimble Park, stopping for a picnic at one of the many tables. With Spanish moss swaying from camphor trees and rows of palmettos, it felt like a primeval fairyland. We saw a number of interesting birds, including a Great Grey Heron. The park is well-maintained... More

This is one of the nicest smallest campground we have been to. Beautifully kept grounds, very quiet and beautiful for nature walking . Lakes are just breath taking ,awesome docks to fish from. Park area for kids and family functions. Can't wait to plan a trip back. Have already shared with other camping friends.

We have an RV and a scooter and this was the perfect spot to do some camping and have quick access on the scooter to the lovely Mt. Dora. The camping is idyllic, quiet and so pretty on the lake (no swimming...but fishing). First come, first serve for site selection, but they do allow you to make reservations in advance... More

What a BEAUTIFUL Park! Quite, peaceful, relaxing place to camp! Picnic areas, boat ramps and bath houses if needed. Nice fire pit area with benches, metal picnic table and charcoal grill. Our first time staying here and we WILL BE BACK! The grounds are kept, up lots are good size, and beautiful overlooking the lake. This is going to be... More

We took a group of scouts to this park for a training session. It is a beautiful park with large old oak trees throughout. The park is clear of undergrowth, and so walking through it is a hassle free jaunt. There are walking paths which are on the edges of some of the park which people come and walk from... More

We enjoyed an extended stay here and could not have been happier! Staff was great... Bathrooms spotless... Beautiful sites! All sites have water and electric -- no sewer connections but there is a dump station. Lovely patio at each site plus bbq grill (charcoal). Fire ring with seating and some sites have swings! Dock available near campsites of you have... More

Very nice park with plenty of benches to watch the sunsets. Also has lovely docks for fishing and walking docks so you can enjoy nature. We enjoyed it.
