Trimble Park is now a spur on the Green Mountain Scenic Byway.. A scenic route from Mount Dora to Winter Garden. The park is open from 8am-8pm seven days a week and FREE of charge. If you're biking the Byway it's a great stop to stretch your legs, take a walk, get a drink, or use the restroom. Trimble Park... More

We were looking for hiking and this was not the site for it, but lots of opportunity for picnicking and playground equipment for children. Boat ramp as well for fishing.

We pulled into Trimble Park while exploring the Harris Chain of Lakes by boat. No Cleats which is difficult when trying to manage the boat docking. The bathroom was very clean, large and convenient to the dock. The park is perfectly situated on the point between Beauclaire and Carlton. We will return with a picnic.

We are bicycle tourists. What a gem of a campground and professional staff ! We were so glad to find this park at the end of the road. We were worn out and needed quiet and beauty. We got both and more. The staff in the office are so knowledgeable and got us settled in quickly. Bathhouse was impeccably clean.... More

Clean public restrooms and fast easy access to Mt Dora. Plenty of parking. Water level is good for boat launching.

Slightly behind the car park, it's entrance tucked away from normal sight, you'll find the start of the boardwalk which takes a meandering route out over the lake shore, through the forest and around the headland. It's an easy, level and quiet walk where you can see alligators on the banks, water snakes and turtles. Wander the path through the... More

Mostly I travel there to walk my Dog to give him a change of scenery. They have a nice nature trail that starts behind one of the two large pavilions and ends near the camping area. Part of it is boardwalk and part is a dirt trail. Signage for it is not great. There are two play areas for kids.... More

Brought the family for a picnic here. Great park to get away from the Disney crowds and enjoy the real Florida. The park is right between Lake Beauclair and Lake Carlton. Lots to do for everyone. There's a mile long loop trail that also has shortcuts if you get tired. Picnic tables and pavilions, bathrooms, and a playground for the... More

We had been shopping in downtown and had a picnic lunch with us, so drove over to take a break. It was Labor Day weekend so had to hunt for a table away from the crowded, covered picnic areas. Our table was almost on the water, had lunch and enjoyed seeing a bunch of small children trying to catch fish.... More
