Brought the family for a picnic here. Great park to get away from the Disney crowds and enjoy the real Florida. The park is right between Lake Beauclair and Lake Carlton. Lots to do for everyone. There's a mile long loop trail that also has shortcuts if you get tired. Picnic tables and pavilions, bathrooms, and a playground for the... More

We had been shopping in downtown and had a picnic lunch with us, so drove over to take a break. It was Labor Day weekend so had to hunt for a table away from the crowded, covered picnic areas. Our table was almost on the water, had lunch and enjoyed seeing a bunch of small children trying to catch fish.... More

We have been visiting local parks and Trimble Park was one of the nicest ones around. Large boat launch. Kids playground is great AND clean! We had lunch under a covered pavilion - sweet , cooling shade. Lakefront - beautiful!

This is a gem of a park. Clean and we'll maintained. Park overlooks the scenic lake. Enjoy a afternoon away from traffic out of the way.

On a lovely lake, the park has something for almost everyone--trails, boardwalk, beach, boating, picnic area, playground, etc. It is a lovely way to spend an afternoon with friends and family with fabulous oak trees and palms. And while on the boardwalk, try spotting some alligators. We save six as well as fantastic birds and a host of turtles.

We were recently vacationing in Mt Dora for 3 weeks and found this park while looking for hiking trails where we could walk our dogs. It was only 5 minutes away by car and we went almost every day. It is extremely well tended and filled with wildlife and beautiful vistas. We took several pictures which I will upload shortly.... More

Found this park while searching for dog-friendly hikes near Orlando. I was raised in the North so I was looking for a more traditional trail instead of the concrete paths most area parks have. Excellent facilities, includes pet rules and sanitation pots. We followed the trail from the main park back along the water through the campground, and to the... More

Great park for a quick weekend getaway. We stayed 2 nights here in our TT and found it quite relaxing and peaceful. It is a small camp area with only 15 spaces, but well equipped with water and electric, picnic table, fire ring, and grill. All spaces are easy to get into. Bath house was clean and brightly lit. Being... More

This is the park to see old Florida. The very old Live Oaks, the fresh water lake (don't swim in this one, folks: gators galore!) The boardwalk and nature trails make for a fun afternoon. Plenty of room for kids to climb trees or utilize the playground. It's a beautiful park w/ plenty of room to camp or BBQ. Please... More

This is my favourite park in the whole of Florida. The toilet Blocks are spotless and the play areas are safe for the kids. Boat ramps to launch your Dinghy for a spot of fishing. The Staff work very hard to keep it tidy and safe, putting in new Boardwalks through the Woods for ease of walking. The RV sites... More
