Beautiful beach with vendors for umbrella and chair sales. Great people watching and amazing, crystal clear water.

Beautiful beach, with chair and umbrella options and even food and drink vendors. Beautiful people too.

We like to walk on a beach that has an area of damp sand that is firm and cool enough to go barefoot. But South Beach is just hot loose sand until very close to the water. Then it slopes down quickly to the water, not pleasant unless all you want is to sunbathe. Plus there were rip tides so... More

With a LGBT faithful crowd, more and more non community members enjoy the mix making it less "ghetto". For the youngsters and the ones that like to see and be seen. An iconic corner of south beach that worth the visit. The beach is rather nice and with warms quiet sea.

Loved the beach, but after the storm on the coastal strip was a lot of "Portuguese man". For the rest, all equipped.

This was my first time actually going to the beach at South Beach and I was happy to find the rainbow flags & know I was home. I was hoping for a beach bar, or even bar service right on the beach...No such luck, but you can pretty much carry your drink with you anywhere on the streets or the... More

I love coming to South Beach and spending my time here it's gay and I feel right at home although it's friendly to everyone gay or straights and the staff at Boucher Brothers that supply the chairs and umbrellas are the sweetest and curtious. i highly recommend this beach.
