Last night at The National Hotel we jumped out of our comfort zone and took Salsa lessons. It was a blast! Simple instructions and thorough teaching made it all palatable. Upon arrival I was concerned as many seemed younger than us (44) but I was quickly engaged and lost my inhibitions quickly. I would suggest this as a fun activity... More

My team was visiting Miami recently for a leadership offsite/retreat and I hired Salsa Mia to come to our house to teach our group of 10 people how to Salsa. I asked for 1 male and 1 female instructor... Salsa Mia definitely delivered! Mateo and Monica showed up to our house a bit early and ready to teach. They brought... More

Took a level 1 salsa class with my daughter in Miami Beach to celebrate her 21st. What a fun night. The location was welcoming and instructors so patient. Class was well paced and we were able to catch on quickly. Lots of time to practice with other more experienced students during brief breaks. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes that... More

My wife and I took our first lesson during a Friday night session at Bongos. We loved it! The staff were spot-on with their instruction. We highly recommend trying this if you are interested in salsa and want a good time.

If you salsa or want to learn to salsa this is the place. Good music and great intruction by some of the nicest people I ever met. No pressure just fun. If you have an attitude leave it home. This isn't the place. I made several friends the first night and even more the second. Go for the 2 hour... More

I found this right here on TripAdvisor when looking for things to do at night in Miami. As a visitor to the city I had read enough reviews to know that nightlife is late and often very pricy. My friends and I were looking for something affordable, fun and earlier on in the evening. The location is above the Yuca... More

I am an LA salsera, always looking to dance in new places! Couple of weeks ago, I went to Yuca to check out the Miami salsa scene after my conference at the Miami Beach Convention Center. It is conveniently located on Lincoln Rd. close to my hotel, no cover charge (great!) so all signs pointed to YES! To my surprise,... More

I've been salsa dancing for several years now and have danced in cities across the U.S. and in other parts of the world. Few places I've been have the friendly crowd and easy, inviting atmosphere of Salsa Mia. This is a great place to go by yourself or with a group of friends - you can't go wrong! With five... More
