Christine was so informative of Miami, and brought the city to life for us. In addition, she accommodated our needs as my girlfriend was recovering from an injury and could not walk.

I enjoyed seeing more of South Beach than just the nightlife/party scene. Who knew there was so much history mixed in with the clubs & cafes that exist today. Definitely take the walking tour -- building after building of art deco architecture. We wander in Park Central, Ritz, Delano, Fountainebleu. Fun to see the decor, fixtures, pools. Sit outside and enjoy a fresh lemonade. Even visit the Biltmore in Coral Cables -- not art deco but definitely worth seeing.

We went in 2006 and it was an interesting morning - lots of fascinating facts about the history of South Beach and how the locals campaigned to keep the hotels and buildings that were very close to being demolished which would have been criminal.
